@ 007PIETER its because the globemaster is so big, that it took off in short run way. Usually a big plane like that needs a bigger runway. But that took off with so much left.
And they say miracles don't happen. It's a miracle that something that huge can stay in the air. (I mean when you don't think about the thrust and aerodynamics)

STOL is what the C-17 was SPECIFICALLY design for - this is about as specaial/cool as is the Sun rising each day. PS - FSX is not REAL FGS.
