OMG!! IT WORKS...I dont think it works for game CDs. I put AIM "GEL" Toothpaste on 2008 football highlight DVD and I put a big cirlce around it and smeered it in from the black cirlce to the outter layer of the DVD. I let it sit for 13min (i lost track of time but it was still good). I washed it off in "COLD" water. I pat it down with a "TOWEL" , both front and back. Then I let it sit until I went to the library to play it and I played it from start to finish and it didnt skip or freeze.

You know you highly damage your disc when you spread toothpaste on it , right? Toothpaste can be used as a sort of polish , so it's basically covering the big scrathes and you get MILLIONS of minuscule scartches on the disc. Just sayin'
