  • 1:51. My favorite part. That's where the emotion comes in.

  • 0:50 "I want my phone call...I want....I want it....I want my phone call."

  • Joker: How many of your fellow dislikers have I killed?

disliker: I'm a 20 year man. And you've killed six of my fellow dislikers.

    joker: *Mouths* Six...

  • I don't know why this one isn't so popular, I mean, I like Why So Serious?, but it's not as emotional and fast-paced as this. You can just feel the intensity of the situation with this track..that something is about to happen...I could just see the whole scene in my head when I listen to this. And the little piano bit that comes with it every once in a while...ugh...I really CAN'T savoir all my little emotions.

    Hans Zimmer, you're a music god :-)

  • The joker is the most frightening villain I have seen, he so unpredictable and chaotic.

  • @cyborgninja100 Not only that, hes probably one of the biggest trolls in villain history.

  • I believe whoever watches batman movies simply....know what's up :)

  • 2:30 - 3:40 This is literally tension in music form.

  • love this soundtrack, so many emotions mixed in to one...its such a sad track, but at the same time it gives the feeling of mayhem, complete anarachy. Hans zimmer really made this track awsome

  • other great soundtrack!

  • powerful... and when the piano starts, i break xxx

  • 10 people need to add a little anarchy to their lifes why ? because the only senseable way to leave this world is without rules and tonight we're gonna break all our rules muhahaha ohh and by the way people will die starting tonight

  • 10 dislikes? and I thought my jokes were bad

  • this was so extreme in the theaters

  • Mr. Nolan always has a great soundtrack to his movies. I love the sound at 2:32, it is perfect for the Joker and basically sums up Mr. Ledger's character in 1 musical note.

  • @MyInferno13 2 musical notes actually.

  • poor Rachel....

  • RACHAEL!

  • 2:25

  • 5:32 I almost shed a tear there :(

  • truly amazing

  • any 1 has remix

  • OH yeah sick as music i love it so buying this album very kool and cant wait for The Dark Knight Rises i heard scarcrow is playin a big roll in the movie! cant wait:)

  • guys i am literally ADDICTED to this movie !!! i've watched it over 20 times now and can't get enough of it !! :D

  • Episch !

  • Who plays Batman in the new movies?

  • @captainbarbossa100 Christian Bale ...you can check imdb for news about the movie :)

  • thats what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object

  • 9 People failed to mount the kerb.....

  • The Batman = 777

    The Joker = 666

  • i hope rachel isnt dead

  • 9 people are too serious

  • they made batman look like a a dork who has lost any shred of control over himself and his surroundings that he may have ever had....that why i hated DK as much as i loved BB

  • @jcfbell3001 That was the point of the movie.Too show how difficult the heroes path is.While villains can do whatever the heck tey want, the hero has to stay on a constant path of righteousness and honour. The Joker was meant to emphasize this. Two face was meant to symbolize the difficulty in choosing the right path.In he end of the movie Batman had to get people to hate him or they would hate two face. That was to symbolize the sacrifices a hero has to make.

  • @SergeantTomato5

yes, i guess i understand the symbolism and the point, but the pacing made batman look kind of....incompetent, i guess? that's what i didn't like about it...

  • @jcfbell3001 that was the whole point of the film, showing how incompetent batman is as a hero

  • @rockyfan94

seriously? cause that was totally the impression i got...

  • @jcfbell3001 yeh, they don't spill it out for you but you're supposed to understand when rachel dies, harvey turns bad, and joker makes batman break his "one rule", joker wins because he has no rules and society does

  • @rockyfan94

why do you think they made it so much more ambiguous, compared to the first one?

  • @jcfbell3001 I dont think it was intentional, there was just so many characters you had to fill in some blanks as you went along, thats one of the flaws of movie imo but its still a good.. I hope the dark knight truly rises in the next one

  • @rockyfan94

cool...i hope for the same...nice commenting with you...

  • @jcfbell3001 like wise

  • Batman is just so fucking awesome.. I love him. If he were real I'd be such a hoe just to get into his bed.

  • 9 people are'nt agents of anarchy, they're agents of peace. :(

  • Hey guys, I forgot my password so I never got around to reseting it and logging back on... But listening to these soundtracks again, I am excited for The Dark Knight Rises! Next soundtrack I will be posting will be Sherlock Holmes: "A Game of Shadows" so be sure to subscribe!

    -TheBatman777

  • @TheBatman777

Im so excited for Sherlock holmes 2!

  • @TheBatman777 Why so serious?

    -itzalexplox

  • 9 people couldn't savour all the little...emotions.

  • @Quadrixie 10 -.-

  • @Motorbreath82 Sorry, my comment earlier was just a reminder to me of what music I was gonna use in a vid.

  • 9 people heard their loved ones die over the phone in an explosion.

  • @AlexPanacro I dont think you should make fun of that dude

  • The joker's mind is brilliant but fucked lol

  • I am I the only one who feels a strange, rather disturbing, connection with the Joker?

  • His escape was just brilliant. Whoever planned/wrote it into the film is a genius. That is what the joker is supposed to be. A mastermind who's in control even when it seems he's a prisoner. If you think you've got him, the joke's on you!

  • @renewer lol that would be Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan. If you liked Dark Knight you should really watch some of Nolan's other films

  • @holjoust Nolan did Memento, right? I saw that, pretty good too!

I really want to watch a great mystery/thriller with a mastermind who just manipulates people and pulls off incredible plots like the Joker does. Law Abiding Citizen had some pretty good scenes like that. Any suggestions for other movies like that?

  • @renewer If you want a good movie that's just a mad man pulling off craziness I recomend Bronson. It's not quite a mystery thriller, but the actor who carries the entire movie is playing BANE in the next Christopher Nolan Batman movie, and I think he'll do a great job following up Heath's performance. And that means a lot from me cause half my arm is covered in a Heath Joker memorial tattoo.

  • @TurtlesButtNaked Yeah, Tom Hardy is the man, darling! Is Bronson just a lot of senseless action? Part of the allure of the Joker is due to the way he plans and executes his elaborate schemes. It's like watching a giant domino assembly start to tip over. That's why Law Abiding Citizen was wicked. The schemer, with seemingly very little power just brought the system to its knees.

  • @renewer No, Bronson is actually based on a true story. Its definatly a deep charecter study. Tthe difference between the Joker and Gerard Butler was there's a lot more discussion with the charecters over their reasoning/justification. With Bronson its much more interpretive, and more weight on Hardy's performance, where as with those two there's much more diolgue in the screenplay. There's also a lot more dark humor in Bronson. Its much more of A Clockwork Orange style madness going on

  • @renewer also, if you've never seen A Clockwork Orange that's one of the great psychological villain movies EVER. Stanley Kubrick is Christopher Nolan's personal biggest hero in film making. If you want some psychological mind fucking look into Kubrick's filmography, he's one of cinema's great masters.

  • Seriously everything would have been fine if Batman had just run over The Joker when he had the chance...

  • MOUNT THE KERB!

  • Every song in the Dark Knight soundtrack reflects the movies main themes. They are escalation, madness and loss of innocence. This is just an amazing film.

  • 6:32 You either die a hero, or you're live long enough, to see yourself become a villian! I can do those things, becouse i'm not a hero! not like Dent!

  • lol; the Joker is a genius when it comes to executing crimes.

  • the ironic thing is joker has really good plans but he says that he is an agent of chaos and chaos is well chaotic. nothing goes like plan in an truly chaotic system

  • @AwesomeNightman I think the idea is that he didn't plan any of it in advance. He's just so crazy and, well, chaotic, that he pretty much just happens to have huge quantities of explosives everywhere. He could have them in your house, right now, for no reason other than that your house was there.

Despite being insane, the Joker is meant to be brilliant, and he is - he doesn't plan these things, he's just quick to take advantage of every situation that arises, quicker than Batman, even.

  • @AwesomeNightman He is. For instance, Batman went after the so-called place where rachel is held. But instead Harvey was in there. Agent of Chaos. They make everything going chaotic and desperate.

  • well done hans zimmer and james newton howard, well composed piece

  • "Introduce a little anarchy"

  • I hate the sentimental crap at the end

  • @itputsthelotion1 The "sentimental crap" is the part when Rachel dies, and Bruce reads a letter from her telling him she wants to marry Harvey Dent.

  • @Emper0rH0rde Actually it's a VO of her reading the letter. Bruce never reads it (Alfred burns it at the end, going with the theme of 'the truth not being good enough' and people deserving more than truth).

  • the dark knight rises cast ( Hardy, Oldman ) stated that the story was fantastic and that the film will top The Dark Knight.. hope they're right

  • 4:42 NO! Why are you coming for me!?? Noo! Rachel! Rachhheeell!

  • shieeetttt we need 9 condoms and a time machine

  • @audacityMedias hahahahahaha good one !!!!

  • Better than Batman Begins but will the dark knight rises defeat the dark knight ? i doubt it Heath Ledger performance was legendary.

  • Listen Harvey somebod BOOM!!!

  • i thought Batman was going for Rachael! lol i watch that interrogation 100 times n i think the Joker deceived him by givin him the wrong address for raCHAEL?

  • @MrChuks123 clap clap clap

  • @MrChuks123 Yes, he gave him the wrong address on purpose. He knew he'd go after Rachel...his "little bunny".

  • @MrChuks123 I'm not sure, because later on it says how they made a decision to go after Harvey.. I think Batman knew what he was doing. He had to save Harvey... The White Knight...

  • @NemesisReap3r95 No, MrChuks had it right. See, Batman's journey in Dark Knight is realizing what he can be, more than a hero. At this point in the movie he hadn't yet realized that fully, and all he cared about was saving his love, Rachel. The Joker told him that he would break his one rule, and he was right. But to add insult to injury, he switched the addresses, so whichever one Batman chose to live, would die.

  • @OWADesign Ah, I see what you mean, it just confused me, because there's definitely a line about how they chose Harvey... Thanks for clearing it up though :)

  • End sounds kind of like Daredevil.

  • 4:11 my heart cries.

  • it kinda sucks that i only saw this movie a couple weeks ago XD

  • @Raptorman0205 No way! If you haven't seen it already watch Batman begins

  • @CoolCartoonsGuy

    i saw that 1.

  • only hanz zimmer and james newton howard is capable of a masterpice like this

  • At 4:07 from 4:21 is my favorite part

  • @Raeman700 me too it's amazing :)

  • "Listen Harvey... Somewa..." BOOM!

  • It's not about money...it's about...sending a message. Everything burns. I had a vision of a world without batman. The mob ground out a little profit and the police tried to shut them down one block at a time...and it was so boring...I had a change of heart...

  • All I want is my phone call.

  • Great score.

  • I wanna blow up a building now lol

  • Batman: Let her go.

The Joker: Very poor choice of words. *lets go of Rachel* HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Likes=(Batman) > Dislike=(Paris Hilton)

  • give us two-face back!!

  • let's put a smile on those 7 faces!

  • @geloliverpool94 and 2 more to go lol.

  • 4:43 Batman busts through the door. him and Harvey stare at each other

Harvey: NO!!! DONT SAVE ME!!! RACHEL!!! RACHEL!!!

  • 4:43 is a punchline in soundtrack form, like it!

  • James Newton and Zimmer...If they both meet,

You know what will be produced out of their minds .... No Comment

  • @aboulmorr

They did this and Batman Begins soundtrack together

  • Truly beautiful :)

  • This film was all about. Joker!

  • RACHAELLL D: SO SAD. RACHAEL!!!!!!!

  • with this music going to the market is a journey D:

  • looks like 7 people didn't get there 'phone call'

  • "How many of your friends have I killed?"

  • You wanna know ... why I use a knife ? Guns are too quick, you can't savour all the ... little ... emotions. Hmm ... See, in their ... last ... moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way, I knew your friends better than you ever did. Would you like to know which of them were cowards ?

  • @Dreizenable I know your going to enjoy this...im gonna have to enjoy this...even more.

  • @Dreizenable that's my favorite line form the joker i wish he could be in the drak knight rises if heath ledger was still alive

  • @Dreizenable

    Yes Please show me

  • @Dreizenable it was a real shame that heath ledger died, this was the best portrayal of the joker ever, i never liked jacks portrayal.... loved mark hamils portrayal..... but heaths character had such depth, menace, lunacy and mystery to it, i dont think, not for another 20 years or so will any one be able to portray joker, the way heath ledger did!!

  • @Dreizenable And yet you only see him use a knife at most twice, the rest is with guns lol!

  • @Dreizenable haahahahahahaa ha ha haha ha ha oh hi hi aha ooh hi ha haha and i thought my jokes were bad

  • does anyone else notcie that the same melody with the piano at the end is the same as the heavy one in the middle? ITS A PARADOX

  • @leonardospimpstyle inception much ?

  • 4:08 that's wen the joker blows up the mcu usin that phone trick (so beautiful... so evil ^^)

  • I think this song should be Two-Face's theme. Only because you can feel the intensity at first of Harvey Dent's evil side, Two-Face, then gets sad (like when Rachael dies) like the old innocent Harvey Dent.

  • 7 people didn't get their phone call...

  • @ThatguycalledTim Now 9 ppl didn't get their phone call...

  • where is sheee!??

  • @1merrelgamezgecko shes in several spots lol

  • Reminds me of Jason Bourne's theme with an evil twist

  • 0:01 to 4:43 I like to think of this song as "The Attack of Seal Team 6"

  • intense music to an intense movie

  • I remember when I would go back to the theater to see this again and I would see the same people I saw the last time I went... this movie was literally a phenomena, mostly due to Heath's sickly humorous and wonderfully played Joker and his always timely escape to terrorize Gotham and frustrate Batman.

  • 5:30 beautiful

  • @Alethia41953 hey guess what! :D you're a retard >:(

  • por fin la cancion de la previa de la sexta del futbol

  • this makes coloring a picture totoally EPIC!! XD

  • I liked Rachel, but I didn't like that she was played by two different actresses. Thanks for posting this. Zimmer has some cool stuff, and this was a well-done movie!

  • @lafleurquicache

I felt Rachel was incredibly boring in the Dark Knight, and im glad shes gone

  • @Envy987001 Yes, the bitch.

  • @lafleurquicache Blame Katie Holmes...or maybe even Tom Cruise. I've heard that she didn't do it because he didn't want her too.....but who really knows?!

  • Rachel is a stupid bitch... but this music rocks. HANS ZIMMER FOR THE WIN!!!!

  • When Rachael died in my head I was thinking Joker you son of a bitch!!! :(

  • Great theme!

  • Who else is excited for the dark knight rises!!! WOOOOO :)

  • @MsPaigeBoy FUCK YES! lets just hope its isnt true about 2012, because the last thing i want in 2012 is getting killed by a tsunami while watching the Dark Knight Rises lol

  • @MsPaigeBoy I'M SO EXCITED. The core four PLUS Joseph Gordon-Levitt?! THIS WILL BE EPIC.

  • 4:20 to 4:42 always gives me the goosebumps. So much emotion. It's like trying to get to a loved one in danger but you can't break though. then it's too late. Very powerful stuff. I love Zimmer.

  • No! Why me?!?! WHY YOU'RE COMING FOR ME?!?!?!? RACHEL!!! RACHEEEEL!!!!!

"Okay, its gonna be okay, listen, somehow..." *bomb explodes*

  • Comment removed

  • My Favorite hans zimmer MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @1992gabe and james newton howard!!

  • i didnt care for the movie too much (please dont hate me) but MAN i love hans zimmer and his work <3 <3 <3 LOVE

  • Comment removed

  • @XAmeriCanLaXitivesX Because this is the song that plays in that part of the movie...

The part where the Joker sets off the bomb in the police station is at about 4:05

  • Comment removed

  • Should use Deathstroke the Terminator in the movie after The Dark Knight Rises.

  • '... Some men just want to watch the world burn."

  • and.....why so serious?

  • "Introduce a litte anarchy and everything becomes chaosss. I'm an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos... it's fair."

  • The Joker won the only way the good guys win is by lying

  • @thinlin3rx wow... this forum is just incredible...i mean, the amount of ideas and thoughts that this movie inspires is just overwhelming...

the real oscar movie of that year...

  • @thinlin3rx The moral of the story gets very confused at the end

  • I didn't like the ending too much but ultimately batman did triumph over the joker and harvey twoface

  • @SergeantTomato5 I think why the end kinda sucked was because i think Heath had already passed away and so they kinda just stopped.

  • @OzAndWillow45 The ending to this movie? It was one of the best endings I've ever seen.

  • in Batman Begins Batman drew over a police car right over the driver's side. So he murdered them police men which is just puzzling. Anyway Nolan behaved like he owned Batman as if it was his idea which just PISSES ME. And the Scarecrow gas scenes could have have used some real horror stuff. Dr. Crane should have been fascinated with Batman from the start because FEAR is being used as a weapon.

  • @FreeeeS You could never see that Crane was fascinated with Batman in BB, BB should have been all about Crane vs Batman, great character buidling for Batman and the audience can SURELY FOR 100% WITTNESS THE BEGINNING. The psychological win over himself and his fear of failing his parents. And in Dark Knight the Joker should have been seen as a mad version of Wayne himself and Two Face well Bruce Wayne has two faces. All in all it lacked MORE EPICNESS that the Batman TAS and the ani-movies had.

  • @FreeeeS Nobody died in in that scene in BB. Alfred actually says to Bruce "it's a miracle no one was killed" straight after that scene.

  • @sm64no1LOL good point but B-man was careless running over a police car i understand it's an action movie but please!!! The Batman should not be doing that

  • @FreeeeS He's not a hero, durr. He's an anti-hero and this movie wanted to put that across clearly.

  • the dark night the best film of batman

  • All it takes is a little...... Push :)

  • the ending is soo stupid, if people heards that batman killed mafious people (like the cops etc.) some people will think "ooh my god he is an assassin sniff sniff" but on the other hand intelligent people will think "who fucking cares they deserve to die, batman is a good guy"

batman is an asshole he shoulded kill joker and all the fuckers
