I like Randa. she is a great dancer but when I watch her she looks less egyptian than Dina. she is too technical. she dances and looks like she rehearsed a lot like foreign bellydacers. Dina is much smoother and looks like she is improvising although I am sure she rehearse like any other dancer.

Randa doesn't dance "good" as you mentioned she dances fabulously and is an exceptional portrayal of Egyptian style. She is one of the best! Didem is also a great but is a one dimensional performer. She is really only good at drum solos. Oriental Dance is much more than that. And your wrong about the figure comment, most belly dancers, especially the best, are not skin and bones like Didem.

She's ok! When I say the "right figure" I don't mean skin and bones, I mean a nice and toned figure. Do you see how her belly kinda sticks out, I don't find that very pleasant to watch. A belly dancer should have a more toned tum than that!

I'm in total disagreement: a bellydancer needs something to shimmy! If you look and compare their muscles it becomes clear that Randa is actually stronger than Didem.

Didem matsers the technique of bellydance. she can do anything she want. But she does not smile or show emotion and that I dont like in her.

She's always smiling when she dance, even in this video. Unfortunately, on youtube we can't see her face very much, but I assure you that she shows her emotions during her dance ^^

Shimmies look awesome with flesh to wobble - but so do slim bodies look great when dancing, just in a different way. Randa is incredibly fit; anyone who dances for a living has to be. 95% of the female population have bellies to wobble, and that goes for dancers too. I personally think this dance suits a softer body than a hard muscular one. I also agree with balkiscatelin below that randa is much stronger than didem physically and has more power in her dance.

a good bellydancer who with her dance transform an avergae looking body into a very sensual one. she could be fat but still very sexy. Randa's body is perfect for me. I know people have different atste. I dont like skinny chicks (arabic people do not like that in general, it is cultural)

Didem got better only after she gained few pounds (+nose and boob job). now she looks more sensual. When she was skinny she looked less sensual. she looked like a little girl. I dont like her attitude. she does not look like she is enjoying what she does.

Finally someone whoe sees things my way! I definately think she is extremely talented and flexible, but NO emotion AT ALL!!!!! She's just cold! She's for young little girls who know nothing about life more than what's hot. Don't mean to sound harsh, but if she could put a little more feeling into her dance, and less "gumbi" moves, she would be a pleasure to watch.
