That's not the Sun at 1:08, that's the light at the elbow of the arm(see the schematic).
The Zodiac(the path the Sun follows) is to the left at about 15-20º.
Can you see the Aurora in daylight? No.
Can you see stars in daylight? No.
Maybe a little more research is order.
