As far as I know smalahove is prepared with sheep head whic is not flayed. That's to say, skin is not removed but singed prior to smoking. In the viedeo most of the frames are so as well, except the three images between 0:22 and 0:33. In my opinion those three images and that technique (removing the skin) is not a part of smalahove tradition. I'm not from Norway and I'm not sure of this info but what I read from reputable sources on the Web makes me to think in this way.
