i have a samsung wave s8500phone.touch dose responding anything, when i restart my phone a blue screen appeares,it says f/w updating do not turn off.afer few second phone will open but touch screen dostnot work.so plz any idea to solve this promlm.

You flashed your phone with the file Rsrc2(Mid) - and you have to change this Rsrc2(Low) ..:) i had this problem too..:) and i fix it.a few weeks ago..

@Finas13 - With multiloader.:) When you choose the Rsrc file, you have to choose the Rsrc2(Low)- this is important!! :)

@ctcoliver It came pre loaded on the handset. I think it is the 'My groups' one from looking at it. Hope that helps

I've got a samsung wave just do a factory reset on it do factory reset of the phone

-Press the Menu key

-Touch Settings

-Scroll to and touch Reset

-Touch Select all

-Touch Reset

-Enter the password, touch Done

I'm lucky that my phone doesn't have a problem the 1st time i bought it, I also have a lot of downloads and apps but still working good and sometimes 4-5days life of battery or 2-3 days if playing games.. Hoping you can get the right samsung wave for you..goodluck

Just as a further update, the third Samsung Wave has been faultless ever since I received it. All I can suggest is, if you have the option, keep sending them back until you get a good one. I really think there was an initial dodgy batch or something. T-Mobile were refreshingly helpful and in both cases I had a new phone in my hand less than 24hrs after talking to them. However, I was still in my cooling off period so they were probably on best behaviour ;o). Don't put up with it, get a new one

@PsychonautLib1 I think i have found a solution, ever since i reset my Samsung Wave to factory settings and deleted NFSShift three days ago the problem hasnt happend. i read up on it and its something to do with an unstaible app which can't operate properly causing the phone to crash. I have another week to return the phone so if the problem happens again i will send it back and ask for an replacement. But as i said i recommend doing the above and checking your apps.

I have the same problem with my phone, it must be new because when I go into T-MOBILE store for help and they don't have a clue what to do. Samsung needs to realise this problem quickly because i'm paying £30 a month for a glitchy phone. However, it is brand new and the new Iphone 4 has had many serious glitches so its probably just something with new phones. Another problem with modern phones is that they carry too much data and are due to crashing. I'll be doing a video soon to help people.

The same thing happens to me, i noticed it seems to be every time i shut down an app then boot another one up straight after, but when i exit an app and wait for a few minutes before starting up another app it dosnt happen, so i guess problem solved. But it shouldnt happen full stop so hopefully they bring out a software update which stops it.
