  • This is fantastic!!

Im trying to learn this song from you... Having trouble with the strumming though. Any tips or help you could offer with strumming in this song would be great!!

  • @JessicaRelj Hi Jessica, it took me a while to get my strumming down. I now a lot of teachers tell you to use an up and down strokes, and that's true, but I just kind of try to strum what I feel. I wish I would explainr it better, I'm not a good teacher. I'm so very sorry I can't help you more. On this song, I emphasize the DOWN stroke every ohter beat. IN other words, on the 1 and 3 count. hope that helps some anyway. thanks again.

  • its amazing !!!!!

  • @TheExec3 you are very talented excellent really enjoyed

  • @midnightclear1 thank you, I appreciate your kindness.

  • @Farleylovestheblues You have the right attitude... keep practicing it. Practicing doesn't really make perfect, but it sure makes better. When you strum, don't try to put more emphasize on the base notes, just practice strumming normally and move your fingers to the frets. After a while, something will click and you will find yourself doing it without even knowing. Let me know how you do.

  • Thank a lot

  • @CB17091979 You are soooo welcome!!! Thank you for watching and for taking time to post.

  • very good lesson and method!!!!

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! An excellent and appropriate way to play this song. The fretting technique for LDS has eluded me for years. I usually play the shuffle "Mark Knopfler" style without a pick, but this was soooo helpful. Keep up the great videos.

  • @rustneversleeps1971 Glad this helped you my friend! I really appreciate you for your very kind comments!!
