You can find this song on Merry Axemas 2. I also believe Neal released this under the Journey name as a fan club cassette single back during the Raised On Radio days.
Around 20 years ago, I heard Schon saying that Journey had recorded a Christmas song and I believe it was Oh Holy Night. Anyone know about this? Also, surprised that this newer version is not on an album.
Rolling Stones just plain doesn't like Journey or who is part of the band. They started rumors that Arnel was leaving the band, and called Escape, "One of the worst albums ever". There just a bunch of dumb asses at rolling stone who only favor the Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. No one else. That's why I hate them!
rolling stone??? only emphasizing style over substance, bias and politically driven. Neal Schon should be at least in the top 50 greatest all time guitarist.
Never have I heard a guitarist who can pour out his very heart and soul into his playing the way this man can. His guitar sounds more like a human voice than any other sound on earth. It actually cries.
I saw Journey the week before christmas in 1999 when Steve Augeri first took the front man position and Neal played "The Bells Of Christmas" and just blew the crowd away! He is truly inspirational and a joy to watch perform live....
Go back and listen to the song Look Into the Future. Like this song, he makes the guitar cry. Truly inspirational.

Yes, it would be nice to download it from iTunes or something. Anyway, I have two original cassettes of "O Holy Night".

I do not understand WHY Neal is not on the Rolling Stone's Top 100 guitarist's list. Makes no sense when you read some who ARE on it.
