Yes. The phosphors are designed with a certain amount of persistence to minimize flicker. :)

Thanks for the clip. Google has a slow motion clip that they are using to advertise the speed of Chrome. It has an LCD in the background and you can see the picture is always "on" and is slowly refreshed from the bottom. Would like to see Plasma.

no it is a whole picture it just refresh's the screen from top to bottom.

this is happening really fast so all you see is the picture result.

yep thats true, that's why u change anything at it will appear right away in the lcd because it's always refreshing the image so it has the image updated very fast...

Wont quite work the same, as only the input is done like this, the LCD is much faster to respond, and its actually cached as each pixil is controled.

But I think I would be interesting to see even the changes faster. Just wondering if the LCD would be blackout most of the time just like TV. Or find out the pixil is change per line or per pixil from left to right within a line. And the difference between Vertical synchronization on/off
