  • Ok so I have Jing... but when i bring a video into after effects it says that there isn't a sound output even though i recorded voice also. Can you help me out?

  • everytime i make a video, and push 'playback' it doesny play my video i just recorded. i plays whats happening on the screen AFTER i push stop.

    then when i open up the video file i recorded its a picture. WTF. and im not pushing 'record image'! helppp!

  • You can't upload directly to YouTube. Jing outputs in SWF format, so you'd have to convert it first to something like FLV. Search Google for converting swf to flv.

  • Unfortunately because of the thumbnail at the start, trying to convert Jing's SWF files to FLV is generally hopeless. Why couldn't it just have a simple "Export flv/avi/whatever" function? Would it have killed the devs to try harder? If you do know of an SWF to FLV converter that actually works with Jing's SWF files, I'd *really* love to know about it!

  • I totally agree. I can't seem to convert Jing SWF files to FLV. No problem with other converter outputs.

  • It's because they want you to buy the Pro version for 14.95 per year. The pro version can export to SWF or MP4.
