theres a peice of artwork thats is a simple picture viewed as iether a rabbit or duck... kinda like the hag and the princess. youd have to see it to understand this video
this was amazing, the emotion of the rabbit was well thought. Don't understand why people are putting it down. To me its a insane cell shaded style acid trip.
its a message of interpretative crap is what it is. god i despise art films. the 3d is pretty terrible too, i like how you were going for the hand drawn look but didn't really come out. it would be OK for a freshman i guess.
hey. im a big fan of film, and im a student in digital animation. if i saw this in on of my classes, the guy would probably get laughed at. you can make a creative film... and still make a little bit of sense. as far as 3d goes, if you cant do something in 3d, practice on it but dont release it as a final product.
The horse is much stronger than the little rabbit and could kill it easily if it had hostile intent. All this made me interperate it the as I said. Also note that when the rabbit hits the water it does not struggle to try to live, it accepts its fate instantly. Its so depressed.
Notice at the end, not one carrot has a bite out of it, no rabbit has eatten any. Also note the horses body language as it offers the carrot and when pulling rabbit from the water, its so slow and gental.
You live in a very dark world stuffmanca. True, people like that do exist.. I ve encountered some myself. Still I would like to see it as Pox5 has... which is also as true but not as easy to see through.
The horse dosn't want to kill the rabbit, and pulls it out but its already drowned. At the end we see all the rabbits the horse has killed and the carrots its offered them. The horses efforts to help the sad rabbits end up hurting them more then helping them.
I saw it as a different message. The horse offered many delicious carrots. The other rabbits have trusted the horse, eaten the poisoned carrots and died. The last rabbit is afraid and does not trust the horse, naive but still somehow knowing it should "no". It refuses the horse's gift, fearfully pushing it back. The horse is frustrated that the last one will not let it end "peacefully" and it kicks the rabbit into the water, later fishing it out and places it with the rest.
if you have to explain it, it probably didnt deliver the message you were aiming for. all in all i think it was not very good. i do think you have a good imagination and that you should continue.
The lonley horse tries to befriend the rabbit by offering it a carrot, the rabbit is a lost soul, overwhelmed by its sadness and wont respond. The horse becomes frustrated by the lack of response and lashes out at the rabbit, knocking it in to the water.
Also.. what is the song in the middle of this? The one that comes on during the lake sequence?

Peter Thomas said it was an impressionistic vision of the human condition.
That makes more sense to me.

It made no sense... The rabbit didn't eat the carrot, the horse kicked the rabbit, who turned into a duck and then the hoerse picked it up.
Ha,,, Well it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. Just try harder next tume.

Hmm, seems sort of... drug-influenced. Like, the carrots are needles.
Sorry if I'm wrong~.

I saw the needles!!! I thought i'm wrong...

Look closely at the carrots. They are a symbol for something else... sharp pointed carrots....

It's a message about the false faces of others, not all good things have good intentions behind them. Look beyond what's in front of you.
