Are there any Stereo (even 2 track) non-movie versions of songs from 1956-57 available, for Elvis? The pre-1958 releases of Stereo recording of Elvis's songs movies was pretty cool way back in 1988... A great find would be Elvis's 1st or 2nd album in true stereo...any chance of that?

This is real true stereo. I write this not without a reason. DES can never be create a clear, clearly audible permanent left-right separation. You have friends at RCA? Then they are very uninformed. The Jailhouse Rock Master, taken for the LP, was a two-track stereo master. This is still available. Mixed-down at 1957 in mono. This is the first truth. 2-track stereo is not a traditional "true stereo".

Why do I write "true stereo"? The saxophons and male vocals which you can hear only in the film-version were an overdub recorded separately on a third track. =) So you can, so if you have this track, mix the complete track down to a real true 3-track-Stereo track, from three complete separate tracks.

Just the Ernst Mikael Jorgensen has made and published it on the FTD Classic Album. I have the song digitally remastered again. Removed Crackle and Noise, improves the brilliance and stereo separation. If you have the FTD release, you can compare. Unfortunately destroys Youtube Flash compression much sound quality.
