this was at a time when matt's throat was almost ruined and he lost his voice permanently... well, not lost... but did a james hetfield, i.e. it changed a shitload... luckily it didn't, but this is a time when matt's voice was on the way out due to severe infection. it's like sneezing with a cold... you know what it's like... now imagine doing that for about an hour straight...

if you don't already know, the bottom 3/4 strings have a rough coating to them, yet the top 2/3 are very smooth and shiny.

the effect of the inverted strings is just bad youtube quality and the light making the strings look thicker.

fyi, it was padge playing, he does most solos and he uses the Flying V and the Jackson Kelly guitar, matt only uses his black RR3 for brixton
