Rage Gameplay Trailer: The Dead City

Here is what i want to see in some Rage Add ons, in best marketing order

1st, a Road Rage add-on that includes new maps, cars, and a racing mode. (WHY THE FUCK they left it out in the first place?)

2nd, Wasteland Legends Add-on, with new maps, (Not seen in Campaign.)

3rd and final, a sort "of Fallout 3 Broken Steel" DLC that includes an extension to the Campaign that concludes the game (FOR REAL THIS TIME!) with new weapons (hopefully) weapon mods, cars, and locations. (Like Gunbarrel 4example)

I didn't like it.

Killing monsters felt so unsatisfying. I wish it were more like fallout with the level up system. There's absolutely no reason or incentive to go explore a place on your own. Money is too easy to make from gambling, and the UI is pretty sloppy. I'm not a big fan of racing games, but this kind of had a twisted metal style racing feel to it. Overall I thought this was kind of a been there, done that type of game.

Get this game.

Don't get it for the story (it's an interesting concept, especially for the imaginative, but there is zero payoff). Get it because the graphics are fucking beautiful and the combat is great. The guns feel right, the AI is really responsive and smarter than average fare, and there are about 100 different ways to approach a single combat encounter.

The firefights are satifsying, there are a lot of side-missions, the game is very long, the enemy AI is very frightening, the graphics are amazing and the voice acting is very good. You can't go wrong, after all it was created by the same guys who created the godfather and forefather of all fps-shooters. They know what they're doing. Highly recommended.

All the missions are near enough the same... you talk to someone, they tell you do go somewhere, you kill a few things, go back to the person, you get stuff... i wish they made the game more realistic, you can't even jump over a coffee table...The cars sound a bit like toy guns... but its still an awsome game

Here's my plan. Since I've rented it (to self, "smart move, my friend" *pats himself on the back*) I'm gonna play Rage for about a week or so...then maybe some CoD Bl.Ops (another rental) for another week in order to massively lower my standards for gaming graphical rendering. It is NOT open world, it has only a FEW weapons, and only ONE armor per character, after u choose ur armor ur stuck w/ it forever. It is ALL about the main story line and nothing else. The graphics are nice and the game is fun, but not anywhere near as fun as Fallout :/
