I finished watching the WHOLE show for the second time a few night's ago. First saw it all during high school quite a few year's ago and this time, careening through the whole thing in under a month and...it's incredible. Somehow, better than one of the most inspiring pieces of art I knew I witnessed all those years ago in my teens. Like a fine wine etc...so glad it exists, ended as it had to, and still exists to be rediscovered ad infinitum :D :D :D oh...and what a wicked PROMOOOO :) x

What an amazing show. It has the best ending to a series ever made hands down. This is TV at its absolute finest. You can really see how mediocre most TV shows are when you see how incredible SFU is. 5 seasons of true drama, love, passion, compassion, death, everything. This show has it all and then some, and just when you think it cant get better, they give a series finale that is hands down, without question TV's finest hour ever. Alan Ball is a genius.

@thyamelate Oh DO NOT DO THAT ....Seriously ....Personally my favorite show ever is Dexter with SFU being a very close second but I can say that Six Feet Under's series finale was/is the absolute best end to a television show ever in the history of anything. It is not only a perfect end to a flawless show but its a very satisfying end as well. Do yourself the favor of waiting to watch the end when you get there. Its so totally worth it I promise.

@thyamelate I promise you its worth it ...those last few episodes are SO emotionally draining and then the end of the last episode makes it all worth it ....I hate to sound corny or anything ...but the ending truly soars ....Its hands down the absolute best series finale in television history. As much as I love True Blood, Six Feet Under is in a class all by itself. Its weird that the same guy that created SFU also did/does True Blood. I know what u mean about Nate, him dying was a mess for me.

@theenigmajjames I just finished the series yesterday, and all I can say is you Are right! That was incredible. It was a hell of a way to finish that series, and well worth the wait! I am in awe. This means I'm going to have to start watching true blood. I've never watched it, I've just been waiting for the new season of Dexter to start.

What gets me is in the few episodes leading up to the finale most of the content is so depressing and it brings you down so far because over the 5 seasons you get so emotionally invested in these people and when they go through life changing trauma ..it effects you as well ...and then that ending comes and just soars so high and brings you up with it ...I mean its sad but it is such a beautiful way to end it. It was the most flawless, perfect ending to a series ever.

I always thought they went this route with the season 4 promo because season 3 ended so down and miserable for everyone (except maybe Ruth) and they didn't want to lose viewers who thought it would continue to be depressing. Best show ever btw
