BEAUTIFUL VID!!!!!! i love to see black beauty. sometimes i wonder where did white people come from but o well they are welcome in my world we all are GOD'S CHILDREN!!!
@collegeboi317 Whites came from the black woman from a system called grafting. No, we are not all God's children. If we were the world wouldn't be going to hell....:-)
@collegeboi317 Yes we are. But we are a destroyed people. We act like those who captured us and brought us to this country (America). We must return to what God made us or we will not be what he made us in the beginning...gods.
@collegeboi317 they came from black people, it's a fact, because it's genetically impossible to get a white person from a black, only the other way around!
African descendants are present in every major city in the country. It is thought that there are 1 million living in the capital of Bogota. Coastal regions of Colombia can have Afro-Colombian populations that are as high as 90% as in the case of the Pacific, or 60% on the Atlantic coast. The department of Chocó is the most African descendant state, followed by Magdalena (72%), Bolivar (66%), and Sucre (65%). Southern Valle, northern Cauca and Uraba have 65% black populations.
you must remember, success in america is hanging from a rope just a few feet from grasp, so the selling of ones soul is based on what one will do or wont, in other countries, its just not seen, thats why in latin countries they look happier they know what they have and no ones waving false dream to them, in the USA at one time you could not call a women a bad name, but now if you do it you make millions, the devil know your desires, only you can control the outcome
I am so appreciative that this video is in existence. My mother is a black american and my father is an Afro Colombian.I have never met him. But my whole life i've been proud to say I'm half Colombian until I worked at a predominately hispanic daycare full of white colombians. They made me feel so out of place that I denounced my Colombian roots and started only referring to myself as Black...But today i'm proud to know there's other black colombians, and I'm proud to be one of them

@MiniBigGurl Wow. I am a Black American. Having been to Colombia, the country is very racially stratified and seperated. It all depends on which department of the country they were from. But I hate to hear your story but I tell you, if you ever get a chance to visit Cartegena, Barranquilla, Cali, etc.........you will feel very proud of your beautiful Afro-Colombian ancestry.
Just came back from Cartegena, Colombia on the Caribbean coast..........BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE NOT ONLY PHYSICALLY BUT IN SPIRIT AND SOUL. As Blacks in America we are are slipping big time....
Beautiful people. Once you look outside of the poverty, you see the true spirit of GOD in these people. To live such poverty yet maintain themselves with such dignity and beauty is amazing.
Yeah, I was supposed to visit Cartegena(with a tour group) this spring but I'm still recovering from a major ankle fracture, so I guess I will be going there within the next year or two instead. *tears*
I'm so envious of you....lol. Please post some pics on you tube, if you can.
Yeah, sometimes my people in the U.S.A. deeply sadden me with B.S. so many of the young folks have chosen to get involved in. But anyway, that's a different forum altogether......
The biggest problem I see with us in this country is MATERIALISM. When we didn't have alot of things, we were more unified and cohesive as a people. Why are people doing all this stuff??? It is the lust for material things and if you can't get it, you go mad........SOME OFTHE MOST BEAUTIFUL AFRICAN and AFRO/INDIAN descended people in the world who find happiness in other things because they no they have no money so they find pleasure in other things. Ways that we have lost long time ago.
I too I'm AA, but I've never had the opportunity to visit Latin America. If these pictures are any indictation, black folks in Latin America physically and spiritually look so much healthier than their American counterparts. You're absolutely right. Black America has slipped and a lot of it has to do with poor self-esteem, lack of cultural bonds, and the exceptance of our conditions. We've got to get it together as a people.
@RedGlareMcNasty Agreed my brother. If you ever get the opportunity to go, PLEASE DO. Spirit Airlines has flights connecting through Fort Lauderdale to Cartegena, Colombia which I think is a nice 1st stop for any Brother.
Dark skin helps protect against skin cancer that develops as a result of ultraviolet light radiation, causing mutations in the skin. Dark skin prevents an essential B vitamin, folate from being destroyed.White Australians have some of the highest rates of skin cancer as evidence of this expectation.Remember that Black people tend to be stronger too(boxing, american football, basketball, soccer, track n field)
Evidence from sports suggests that Darker people recover faster from injury
Este video es una verguenza para los Colombianos reales. Que porkedia.
