THIS VIDEO WAS ONE OF THE RARE FEW TO SHOW VINTAGE CLIPS OF HIP-HOP'S GOLDEN ERA.MAIN SOURCE'S BREAKING ATOMS ALBUM WAS WAY AHEAD OF IT'S TIME.I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT EVEN MADONNA SAMPLED THEM.YES ''THE MATERIAL GIRL'',MADONNA.THIS VIDEO IS A PERSONNAL FAVORITE OF MINE.IF YOU LOOK REAL CLOSE...A YOUNG ''NAS''IS IN THERE,TOO.
@juswolf22 I'm not entirely sure, but I think the beat and violin are in Gwen McCrae's '90% of me is you', that might be the original. And the vocal and horn type I think come from the Sister Nancy's 'Bam Bam', which ObiKemi mentioned. All great songs...
"Peacing with CL Smooth and Pete Rock making beats that were sharper than cleats" that was one of the illest lines and at the time I had no idea who Pete Rock and CL Smooth were
One of Hip Hop's Classic Albums. And it was underrated during it's time. This was the album that intoduced us to Nasty Nas - "the rebel to America" & Akinyele before the classic "Put It in Your Mouth".
this video flawlessly drafted the aesthetic blueprint of what being a fly b-boy meant in the early 90s. This song (Large pro's flow + lyrics + music) is and remains to me the original soundtrack of that lifestyle . imperial shit.
This joint bring back the days I used to run home from school to catch Video Music Box on channel 31, Uncle Ralph, Crazy Sam, Tuffy and the whole crew, thank God for YouTube, where we can still see these classics
big ups to large pro and main source. and ppl... dont ever believe that real hip hop ever died. it just evolved. this shit molded me like so much other material in this era.

@Phaktor1 Yeah i saw him. I heard Main Source say his name too. This song is a lot better than what the tv and radio is playing now. This is something I can really listen too when I'm hangin out.

@Rustyparapper Have you EVER listened to Lookin @the Front Door? The cutting & scratchin is by 2 DJ' son... Its like having 2 guitarists in a group.. It ENHANCES the FLAVA!!! ok???
@Rustyparapper Their mother was there manager and she ran the group (into the ground). She is the reason we cannot have "Think" played on "You Tube" and she is the reason (her Actual Records label) is the reason "Think" was on the "Breaking Atoms" album.
@BlakeSkates15 I've been say that shit for a while now and people got mad ! Real Hip Hop as we know it is dead ! An we will never get it back again !! The era we group up in is gone forever!
