Yes, I completely agree. I believe the ratio between our military to scientific research spending is something like 50/1. Meaning that, on an annual basis, for every 50 Billion that the US spends on the military it only spends 1 billion funding the NIH and other biological life saving research studies. This is extremely lopsided. I think we have our the wrong priorities.
