Production Budget: 110 million

US gross: 77 million

Rest of the World: 99 million

So the movie itself produced 80 million

And DVD sales achieved 24 million

More than a 100 million in earnings! So there may be hope for a sequel!

Am I the onyl one who loved the finale just as much as the tank scene? I can;t think of a single bad second in the movie! How this was a relative box office failure I'll never know. Hopefully Fox will greenlight a sequel and in terms of bucks it can be redeemed, with Carnahan still on board. Quality-wise, it's Grade-A fun!

@SpecialKid2000 Maybe thats why it did bad. Critics dont have fun, they point out bad bits. Even when the good bits seriously outweigh the bad bits or bit.

@SpecialKid2000 the only reason it did bad at the box office was because they released it at the worst possible time, when other films that were just as big were all released at the same time. Toy story 3, Inception, the expendables, knight and day ect. if they had released it around iron man 2 time (cos that was the only big summer blockbuster out at that time) im SURE that it would have been 100 times more successful

Reminds me of the Tanks in Vice City that weren't supposed to be there and they hadn't refined all of the physics yet, so if you shot to the back enough, the tank actually started FLYING.
