i found a bx2 400n in my storeroom, it seems like this but with a blue spool and round knob instead of the t-bar. is mine the older batch? it's not even used at all, forgot i had it. omg.
How well do these cast? I currently have a saltist 2 speed lever drag and have been looking into either an accurate or the new saltiga lever drag. But I want a reel that will cast well

evertrules24 7 months ago
@evertrules24 They both cast OK, but a Shimano Talica would be better for your needs. It's designed for casting.
jandhtackle 7 months ago
@jandhtackle Whats the max drag on one of those talicas and how does the size of one compare to lets say a size 40 saltist lever drag?
evertrules24 7 months ago
@evertrules24 The Talica that would be the size of a Saltist 40 would be the Talica 16. They put out 40 lbs of drag. Awesome reels!

I've been drooling over that reel..
