This stuff is really cool and all, and it's really fun to find things like this, but in reality, it was just put there so they wouldn't have to load a whole new level everytime you played the mini game. However, if they made a little map with just the grid, it would take a little while to load, nothing inconvenient. Then again, it could have been put there just to save space on the disc, or maybe they wanted us to find it? Either way, glitching old games and discovering this kind of stuff is fun

@161202scar Actually, she may actually be right. What you have to do to be sure is make sure to get there from a place elsewhere where the door doesn't open. Here's something: Do you know why the mini-game loads pretty fast, but when you open the door the game feels like it slows down? That's because everything from the mini-game to the whole eco grid room loads at the spot. I'll show what I mean. I have another video. Keep an eye for a message in your inbox.

@161202scar I'm pretty sure that it only loads a certain amount of the map away from you at a time. They don't render the whole map continously. That's stupid and the PS2 probably couldn't handle it. They probably just load the map so quickly you cant reach the load tear. Except he managed to here somewhat.

I kind of still want to make it full HD (1080p), but I might have to make it only HD (720p). I can't be working on it right now too much because I have two college projects to work on, so I might not be done with the adjustments until the weekend. Sorry.

@jaythebird7 Lol I did, but nothing happens as far as I could tell. I also tried falling into the catacombs, but with no luck (Jak dies). I also tried to reach the top of the Spargus city tower, which I did but nothing happens. Hehe they're untouchable for some reason.

It happens because of game mapping, Its easier to place the side missions and levels in the same map and just move the camera angles around

@Edgarin108 Yes, thats exactly the reason, it also saves on memory space, I learned this from playing Half life 2 where there is the cheat where you can fly around and pass through walls and objects.

Ok do you see on the top right corner where you're account name is? Below there should be something that says Subscriptions, History and then a Yellow button that says Upload. Just click on it and follow the steps and you're done. It's very easy trust me :)

Yeah, devs will sometimes do that, sublayering a 3D object beneath another object. I did something similar in Ratchet and Clank Going Commando once, where I saw a 3D Electrolyzer puzzle.

I think doing that saves loading time. Think of Haven City gates. Ever notice they don't always open immediately? Well first they unlock and usually that gives enough time to the system to load the other place. Sometimes, though, the other world didn't loaded yet. When that's the case the game does not let the gate to open until all the other world is loaded. But if you can load everything you need in one step, that can save you time when starting something. In this case the Daxter mini-game.

Of course, advance would cost a lot of money, but I don't know how much are you willing to spend. Alright. I do teach it in Spargus Glitches. But the essential for Glitch flying is XXO, to start flying, and then immediately XOXOXOXO... and so on.

The game creaters were clever and automaticly loaded everything when an entire level was loaded. So when you go to the minigame, it's already there. Only problem with this type of designing is that it can lead to many glitches if not properly checked.
