Exactly what would Thomas do had he caught up with Diesel? The only engine in TTTE that is capable of confronting other engines is Diesel 10, coz he had a claw. Thomas would be unlikely to want to bump Diesel, because Diesel has the special wood and shit.

I am actually considering writing a letter of complaint. This is not Thomas the tank engine or Thomas and Friends. This is dumbbed down junk, with each character having such a patronizing voice. I watch for as long as i remember, and i say this is not progress. Another thing is, they wouldn't create episodes like they did at the start, with all the crashes and spookiness, AND why is diesel here? in the old version the fat controller sent him away and said he would not return I am not amused.

Okay, so notice how Thomas doesn't receive any reprimand for his thoughtless and rude comment to Diesel, which is what caused him to make Hatt "cross" for losing the Jobi wood. Thomas gets celebrated for covering his own ass? No wonder the Steamies and Diesels don't get along. Tsk, tsk, one to explain to our kids, one to explain, though most wont notice, I bet.

Here's something that I don't exactly get (at least goof-wise); how does a huuuuuge load of jobi wood reduce to just nine logs after we first see it? I thought there was some 'reward' in order to even haul these things... Another thing, if they're so important, why make it a 'reward' just to haul it...? Ya'd think they would put priorities to building the rescue center first, yes?

Anyway, this was a really great special compared to HOTR, but I can't wait to see what DOTD will showcase next.

She did like the hand built models too gerv55. I do too. usually when i'm alone, i put one of my old VCR episodes in or play my movie Thomas and the Magic Railroad. I love the intro to this movie.
