  • Galates 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is the charity, the enjoyment, the peace, a patient spirit, the kindness, the bénéficence, the loyalty, the sweetness, the total abstinence .

  • Sometimes there's some better things than a life: Dignity! specially for a woman! DIGNITY is not distingued by body, but by the spirit that incarned in that body. some people incarne in the human body not as angel, but as evil. they dont have respect for the person of an individual who represented the image of god. They are evil, vicious, inside, never discovering and experience the real objectif of life. Keeping on hypocrisie, their bestial MENTALLITY would like to use people like PUPPET.

  • I don't understand why her parents would try to keep her alive in this state. It's fucking sick how people can be so selfish that they have to cling to an empty shell of a person just because they don't have the emotional and mental fortitude to LET GO. She died. Yet her body was forcibly kept alive in a state that wasn't even lucid. Criminals that commit unspeakable acts of violence and terror don't even have to suffer this, but Terry, an innocent woman does, and at the behest of her family

  • @SuperHeroMan411 And the worst part is her family was PRAISED by religious groups. Religion is truly a mental illness.

  • I very strongly disagree with you. Every human being has the right to life, and no one should ever have their life taken from them against their will, but... this is something else. Every human being also has the right to choose to end their life in a situation where death and/or imense suffering is their only other option. They have a right to end things on their own terms, with their head held high and their dignity intact, and NO ONE has the right to deny them that if psychologically stable.

  • I work in healthcare...with everything that I see and continue to see...I feel that we should have the right to choose death over life. I would!!

  • Maybe we should euthanise the religious zealots who are quite obviously mentally ill.

  • I never want to be kept alive like this. LET ME GO!

  • @Laurisa718 Amen to that! I'd crawl on my tongue to kill myself before I ever allowed myself to live like that!

  • Passion killing or euthanasia is an dangerous idea and should never be a loved, because it is, in reality impossible to administer. In a time of economic crisis, massive cut down on the public health care sector, hospitals, euthanasia will be misused on patients that is regarded as not valuable on the labour market, especially old people will be “euthanized” by the doctors for economic and resource viewpoints. But also long time unemployed, people on sick pensions, homeless and groups a like.

  • @vkonej - thank you for your excellent comments!

  • Stop eutanasia...

  • DEHYDRATION STARVATION IS CRUAL

IT DOES NOT MATTER SHE WAS PVS

    OR DEAF-MUTE-DISABLED OR

WHATEVER SHE HAD A RIGHT TO

    LIVE.

  • "and her family but no one would want to live like that? "

That's the problem. People see something they don't like. So they want that destroyed.

Yet people have souls,. They are still themselves deep inside. I've looked after many Like Terri, with a deep heart, even though many of you wouldn't believe it.

  • i dont understand why people seem to think that the husband is the monster. . . he new that that is what she wanted and i fully agree with you Joyness333. she wasnt really alive, she couldn't talk. The only reason that she was kept alive was because her family was not ready to let go of her yet and i can understand that. I am doing a report on euthanasia and assisted suicide and i think that if a person is a vegetable, they shouldn't be kept alive. terri was long gone and she will be missed. RIP

  • As a nurse my question has always been this.... If a person had not been brought into hospital for emergency treatment, they would have died. Is not what we do in the emergency department and every treatment that follows, is us healthcare providers playing God. Maybe his intent was to bring that person home on the day of their "event" and we interfered? I have always been torn when it comes to caring for someone who is being "artificially" sustained on life support. Especially if they said no.

  • Comment removed

  • Momoyen, couldn't have said it better myself. Naturalhit.. buddy.. we are animals. We're not so special that we are devoid of the chance of dying spontaneously. What happened was very sad, but it just happens. The fact that they tried to keep her alive for so long was very noble, but also futile, as she was not responding or getting better. I believe her life was taken because her time had long passed. What she had was really no longer life, it was just breathing and a pulse.

  • But we are not animals. We are all called to defend life and individual rights.

  • if in malaysia, this case will fall under battery and tresspass 2 person..we do not allow the mercy killing in malaysia..i've studied this terri's case and feel very sorry to her family..

  • I dont know this story but will look it up co's the questions I have are:

Did they starve her to kill her?

Why did they make the choice when they did instead of in the beginning 1, cos they gave up caring 2, co's of the bills, or 3 co's they couldn't be darned to give up the time anymore, or 4 other reason that I can't even think off as to why you would give up when she still smiled, was still the same as when they got media attention. I don't know the story but something smells bad real bad.

  • theblob, show me proof that she chose to be euthanized.

  • the same goes for abortion its the womans choice not yours

  • The fact that Terri was Catholic means she was against abortion and euthanasia, even her own. She always followed the Church and believed it was a grave sin to support euthanasia. It was Michael's decision, not hers.

As for abortion, what about the baby's choice?

  • She always followed the church? There's no proof that Terri was even a practicing let alone devout catholic. It was a grave sin to keep her alive after God tried to take her when she first collapsed

  • Actually Fr. Frank Pavone was there for her as he absolved her from her sins. Only Catholics have a priest absolve someone from their sins.

  • What does that have to do with anything? Pavone wasn't even allowed into her hospice room. So no he didn't "absolve her" he wasn't her priest just another one looking for a cause of the moment.

  • Thank you theblob34 for your comment.

    Much appreciated!

  • anytime i nursed the elderly some had terminal diseases so i know were your coming from

  • Why do people keep saying her euthanization was to stop her suffering? She didn't want this. I wish more people showed her more compassion.

theblob, human dignity came from God Himself. This murder of Terri Schiavo was a great attack on her human dignity. It was her God-given right to live and why should we have taken that from her?

  • You call keeping someone alive past the time God originally tried to take her, human dignity? Her family treated her like she was some pet and cash cow. God took it from her it was man keeping her alive.

  • PogueMoran, how can you say that about Terri's parents? Don't you have children?

Michael Schiavo had a new family anyway.

  • I can say that because it's true. Terri's parents encouraged Michael to get on with his life. They met his dates when things were still civil. Her parents testified in court that they didn't care what her wishes were that they wouldn't follow them that they would keep her alive no matter what because it made them feel good. This wasn't about her to the parents it was about them.

  • And where did you hear this?

Are you also saying Terri chose t obe euthanized? She was very happy with her parents. She always smiled at them.

Besides this starving someone to death is one of the most inhumane ways to kill someone. Do you know how painful it is?

  • Where did I hear that? I've actually read the court documents. Try reading the Wolfson Report. According to witnesses she would not want to live in this condition. Good lord she didn't "smile" her cerebral cortex was destroyed, she was blind and most likely couldn't hear or process the information. There was no way to tell what her emotions were.

This isn't starving someone this is dehydration. When you are on a feeding tube you still feel starvation and hunger pains.

  • The human body needs to be fed by mouth. Otherwise your body still feels the hunger paints. Also you're making a rather bad assumption that someone in her condition feels pain the same way you or I do. Many terminal patients will take themselves off the feeding tube and die rather peacefully. How long would you have had the parents keep her alive as their pet?

  • @PogueMoran

She was not terminally ill. What documentation do you have to prove that unless fed by mouth one still feels hunger. I think that you are basing your knowledge on bad assumptions. The parents weren't keeping her alive, remember she wasn't on any life support.

  • Domesticated you obviously do not understand how feeding tubes work. Our bodies need oral ingestion. Have you ever had to have a feeding tube? The body still feels hunger pains even when you're on a feeding tube. You should consult your doctor about this. Yes she was being kept alive. In the state of florida feeding tubes are considered life support. She was never going to get better.

  • it's more that it's a passive form of euthenasia, take away something that's keeping her alive rather than introducing something which is alot more active.

Not that I agree with it I think that's just the reasoning behind it.

also giving people lethal injections is a bit of a slippery slope

  • PogueMoran, She kissed her mother, spoke a few words and responded to a balloon. How did God tried to take her when she wasn't completly a vegetable?

  • She did not kiss her mother where is there video where you can see actual motor control related to this during the late years of her being in PVS. There isn't any. She didn't respond to a balloon the camera was zoomed in so far that if you look carefully the balloon is following her eye movements not the other way around. In the open your eyes video they said it to her for minutes on end and then cut the video to one of the instances she opened her eyes. She only had her brain stem left

  • @PogueMoran

What? Because she took, in your opinion, too much time to respond then she deserves to starve to death? I say this even though I doubt you really know the time lapse of when she responded.

  • Its not in my opinion its in the majority of doctors who looked at her over the years. She wasn't starved to death. You make an assumption that somehow people in her condition feel pain like we do.Her brain was obliterated and she was living off her brain stem which controls lower brain functions. She was not responding to therapy. She was in that state for 15 years its torture to keep someone alive when god already was taking them.Read theautopsy shewas blind, she couldn't hear, she couldn't respond

  • @PogueMoran she was opening her eyes on command, so please don t give me the "she couldn t hear and couldn't respond thing"

  • @moietmavieana Untrue. Read the guardian ad litem Jay Wolfson's report. There was over 4 hours of unedited footage the Schindler's took olf her. She was repeatedly told to open her eyes for half an hour and was unresponsive. They then edited the tape to a point she involuntarily opened her eyes. Read the autopsy her cerebral cortex was destroyed she couldnt see, hear, respond.

  • She did not kiss her mother speak words. Maybe in the first year shecould speak but not during thelast 14.God took herthe nightshe collapsed and ended up in thiscondition. Man kept her alive after herbrain was cut off from oxygen for 15mins.God kept her alive when they did multiple surgeries on her. She didn't respond to a balloon the camera was zoomed in so far that the balloon was instead following her.Its trick photography there's a reason the family only released a few mins out of 4 hours

  • i really wish these pro life wnakers would just fuck of with there dogma and bullshit it meant nothing 400 years ago it means nothing now.human dignaty is more important than stupid religous dogma and morals

  • No man shall murder, it is murder, My children, when he shall give the excuse of saying an individual is no longer living or a part of the world because he has become emaciated, because he lives only with prayers and the help of all scientific means. The Eternal Father has placed a soul in that body. That body is the temple of the Holy Spirit! No man can know when that soul must return to the Eternal Father. Euthanasia is murder! Shall you become a judge over the living and the dead? Our Lady

  • please take your pro life bullshit and stick it up your arse with your other pro life christian nutters

  • its not about whos decision was it this is about a person suffering for years, would you like to "live" if your brain doesn't work, your body doesn't respond to you, people in a persistent vegetative state are not them seves anymore so whats the point in keeping them alive, and if your are a religious person im sure you dont think god wants you to remain in suffering for so long, she lived the time she had to live and its only fair that she rests in peace now

  • Those Christians whp did use torture did not know what it was to be like Christ. People such as Mother Theresa, St. Francis of Asissi, Padre Pio, and Pope John Paul II knew what being Christ-like was. Pagans also have their history of torture but I don't condemn them.

Her death was not out of love. Her parents would have gladly taken care of her, even if her husband did not want to. She was disabled, not dying. Besides this, starving someone to death is in itself torture, isn't it?

  • She did not seem to think that way. Be careful not to mix your own personal feeling for hers. You think the Church did not care for her suffering? They wouldn't have tried to protect her if they didn't. They defended her out of love, not out of zealot close-mindedness.

There is a HUGE difference between devout christians and religious fanatics. I understand where you are coming from because I once agreed with this.

  • Before anyone says "she had to go" Terri was faithful to the Catholic Church so she would not have consented to euthanisia. Her husband was wrong to make that decision.

  • she made it herself whats wrong with you stupid dogmatioc idiots

  • okay,

everyone here is JUDGING i feel terrible for her and her husband and her family but no one would want to live like that? i mean really put yourself in her shoes.... then tell me what you think. you should be a little bit more open minded!! geez

  • I did dancingmouse. I honestly thought she would be better off dead than to live like that. But Terri Schiavo's life was not my own and as much as I can't stand to see someone suffer like that I have no right to end their lives. Neither does anyone else. And if I were the one to have pulled the plug I would have hated myself for it because I killed an innocent person.

  • It was time for her soul to move on. Terri needed to go.

  • hadenough101, it is okay then for another human to determine when it is your time to "move on"?

  • yes she did what a lovely thing you said , its nice to know there a poaple out there who can see the human need

  • What? That was not human need, that was forcing something on her which she was opposed to. Who are we to force someone to die just because we don't want them?

  • it was her choice NOT YOURS so please take your pro life crap and stick it up your arse its not wanted here

  • It was not her choice. It was her husbands choice.

  • @hadenough101 yes but she dint make thhe choice

  • @hadenough101 Get real. This was predictive programing propaganda for the soon-to-come socialized health care that was sure-to-wait until after the bailout-the-rich guys. The next economic bubble will be life insurance policies on us. Read Eric Holgren's "Ecoscience."

    .

"Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, health adviser to President Barack Obama, is under scrutiny. As a bioethicist, he has written extensively about who should get medical care, who should decide, and whose life is worth saving. "

  • Suffering could be meaningful, no doubt but it's not up to you to say or to dictate to another that his or her suffering is meaningful. Let the person who's suffering decide for himself. Afterall, I don't see you bearing the allegedly meaningful suffering for the person who's suffering.

  • There's a take-home message to everyone: Have a Living Will (Life Will); executive Durable Power of Attorney; Executive an Advance Directive outlining your specific wishes; and, if you desire, write down your reasons and your beliefs - so that others need not guess as to your rights, wishes, desires...

See your attorney and get these things done NOW. Others will be glad you did. And when you're in the position to help a friend who's

end-stage, you'll be glad to know their wishes to the letter.

  • under the black market drug and sex slave market we have young people who are prostitutes who are not truly living either(emotionally)...does that mean we should end their lives.

  • I think since her husband no longer wanted her, the court should have given her back to her parents, since they embraced Terri and wanted to care for her until her natural death, even with a feeding tube. The parents are the ones who must suffer the loss of their beloved daughter. The husband must live the rest of his life know that the marriage vows stopped for him when her health was altered.

  • Angel I cant agree with you more but dont you think her husband is to make a decision based on her best intrest. mary be he thaought it best. But I have been suspicios of him myself. I heard reports he can be pretty hard headed but I m willing to believe it to be unfounded

  • They starved her to death -- punks..

  • pagan ISN'T unrealistic. your religion might sound unrealistic to pagan eyes. I believe you should start to show respect first, if you really follow Jesus words.

Also I am in favour of euthanasia when the person wants to go.

life is already hard for healthy people and the ones who unfortunately get harmed for whatever reason and choose to die with dignity have my compassion and simpathy AND nobody has got the right to condemn them for their choice.

  • Comment removed

  • I believe people have the right to help to assisted suidide to end perlonged suffering if its their soleluem choice she did not want her family to see her suffering she did want the pain she wanted control dignity and soluem peace I would not to live this way ether

  • What is the name of this song?

  • I Know Its All Over by The Smiths. Very appropriate!

  • simply amazing

it's from "the queen is dead"

  • it sucks that it happened, but if there was no more brain function, then there would be no point in letting her live like that.

  • If you can call that being alive.

  • exactly. i wouldn't want to live like that.

  • I wouldn't want to live like that either. It was time to let Terri go.

  • the reason nobody was allowed to giver anything by mouth is because she would develop inspiration pneumonia. Look up what that is.

  • It's ASPIRATION pneumonia.

  • She was killed by dehydration and starvation; the simpilist needs for survival, food and water.

  • She died after she had the heart attack due to potassium imbalance (she was anorexic) and was hypoxic long enough to where she was in permanent vegetative state. She could not think, see, hear or do anything. Only her brain stem was keeping her diaphragm moving and eyes open. When the tubes were removed she did not feel thirst nor hunger. On her grave stone it reads 'died 1992, was set free in 2005' Get educated before you write nonsense.

  • She had the potassium imbalance because she was anorexic-->then she had a heart attack-->then her cerebral cortex and olfactory, and visual cortex died due to the lack of oxygen and was replaced by cerebrospinal fluid. She was brain dead. ps. my youtube name means something in a different language as a whole dont take things out of context and try to appeal to the my youtube name when you dont know what to say.

  • Wasn't she on potassium supplements as well as being bulemic? If not what exactly caused her potassium imbalance, or was it simply a deficiency? Either way it is sad, I would never want to live in that state. Also you said her grave stone reads 'died in 1992' Although I thought her heart attack happened in 1990?

  • So, did she sleep or were her eyes always opened?

  • can someone explain to me who this person is ?

  • Do you realize that many Nursing Homes are "Do Not Attempt Resusitation" (DNAR) facilities? At the time of admission a new resident "must" sign a waiver agreeing to give up their rights to an Advance Directive for CPR & Defibrillation. In order to gain admission they "must" sign the DNAR waiver. In the event of Cardiac Arrest the staff will call "911" and allow the resident to die while waiting for the EMTs to arrive. This is legal protocol in the U.S.A. In my opinion, legal euthanasia.

  • Whats the solution sooner or later death comes

people do not talking about this reality.

  • I do not want to be judgemental towards her exhusband,BUT I find it very suspicious why it was so important for him to have her putted down when he had found another one to marry....Why dd he not divorce her and leave her over to her parents and let them decide? And who has the right to say that she would not have gotten any life? What do we know?

  • In sickness and in health, he vowed to stand by her! that is why he fought for her to die in peace!

He does have that right, as the husband and the guardian.

    duh!

the parents needed to let go back when she died in the collapse.

Just because we CAN doesn't mean we always SHOULD = we can help her to linger on without any emotions or existance?

I support the husband 100% and pity the parents who could not let her go.

  • It is very difficult to be the4 parents in a case like this....They do not even know where her grave is as her exhusband does not want them to know. That is also very suspiciously...

  • One of the bottoms lines was it was a conflict of interest for him to continue to be her guardian after he stopped allowing her to have rehab AFTER the malpractice settlement. Judge Greer should still be brought down for his unethical actions. It was judicial murder.

  • Life goes on, if it were me in a capsulated body, I would want my spouse to live, I would live her just the same.

  • It's very selfish to force people to suffer in pain without an outlook of recovering.

If YOU don't want to end your life through euthanasia, you don't have to!

Let people make their own decisions, why control others?

  • dilemmix, there is a "word" for people who want to kill themselves because they suffer and they see no hope for recovery -- it is called "suicide". Suicide is not the answer.

  • rosary, when there is no more pain relief available for a patient in a lot of pain, and without any hope for improvement, then what is the right answer?

Euthanasia is not suicide- the word means, 'a soft death', a death without pain.

Suicide is quite harsh and lonely, euthanasia is not.

  • dilemmix, suicide is not a moral alternative. And who is to say there is no hope for a meaningful life -- meaningful to at least someone? Choosing death is suicide, not euthanasia. Forcing someone to die, without their consent, is murder. Forcing someone to die, with their consent, is suicide and murder.

  • Rosary, again, suicide is not the same thing as euthanasia. When I speak about euthanasia, I use the word as defined in our Dutch law and rules, it always means voluntary. People have to request it and only are accepted if there are medical reasons, like no more pain relief available and no chance of improvement. Euthanasia is a humane thing to do if people want it. Suicide is very sad.

  • Also, you say that suicide is not a moral alternative. You probably mean euthanasia, not suicide.

But by whose standards is it not moral?

Surely, if the patient finds it moral and necessary, and the doctor agrees, then there is no clash of morals.

Why would a patient have to suffer against their will just so that s/he can meet YOUR standard of morals?

  • dilemmix, no, you are incorrect. This is not my personal anything. What the Church teaches on Euthanasia is what I believe and promote--which is what the video is based upon.

  • Rosary, I understand what you mean about what the Church teaches, and that's fine, but I don't belong to a Church. Why would people, who don't belong to a church, have to live by the morals of a church? Not everybody beliefs blindly in a God- there is no proof that a God exist.

  • dilemmix, as you know, people have a free will. However, this will is obligated to make moral decisions based on objective reality. What the Church teaches is based on objective reality. A person can choose not to believe in gravity, yet, a wise person will recognize that gravity exists and will respond accordingly.

  • Rosary, yes, people have a free will and are the owners of their own body and life.

    Nobody else owns their life.

That's why they are the ones who should have prerogative right to decide when they want to end it. They can listen to their own morals.

Gravity is based on scientific principles- physics.

What the church beliefs is based on faith, which is belief without evidence. There is no evidence that their morals are right since morals are subjective.

  • dilemmix, what the Church teaches is not just based on Faith. It is based on science, right reasons, logic and experience. "Thou Shalt Kill" is not an arbitrary faith statement.

  • I am pro euthanasia...

What would happen to us if we don't have the free choice of live of death for our self?

  • Loxandra1312, suicide is immoral.

  • that useless thing she married only wanted her dead becuase he was to busy out screwing around and wanted to get on with his life... why he has to murder her is not up to me to judge.... some day the Lord with judge...

  • Do not resort to personal attacks on the husband. Your foolish rant is not based upon your knowledge of the medical world. Your personal (false and slanderous) attack on the husband is based upon your religous beliefs. Keep your religous beliefs in your home and church, and let doctors make these decisions. People like you have completely brutalized the husband and turned him into a monster with lies.

  • Frankly, I think you are all messed up in your conception of this case, and have absolutely no knowledge of what actually happened. Public shame? Hopefully there will be-on those who allowed this injustice to occur.

  • What injustice? This stuff happens all the time in America why aren't you at every hospital or hospice in america stopping people from removing feeding tubes. This is an everyday occurrence. The fact is no one would have known about this case if it wasn't for the parents bringing the circus in. They were less concerned about what their daughter's wishes were and more concerned with how they felt. They stated this in court.

  • And alot of people have survived with brain damage and been rehabilitated..at least they have life. MIchael shoved everybody who cared out and basically neglected her.He showed to be an abusive husband even before her attack and fall..he proved himself getting another woman pg over and over..he should not of been given guardian ship to be able to determine her death!

  • exactly

  • Wrong rehabilitation failed utterly. She couldn't swallow. Michael took care of her better than anyone in his situation would have. She never had a bedsore in all the years she was there because of how he took care of her. He never proved to be abusive you have hearsay that was made up ten years after the fact. Terri's parents encouraged him to date other people. They were perfectly okay with it and met his girlfriends until money became a factor for them.

  • life is God,love,suffering,joy,pain,birth,old age,death,God relationship.

  • A public shame on everyone who stuck there snout in this case and got between a husband and his decision to take his wife off the artificial feeding tubes. Public shame on Tom Delay and Jeb Bush. The autopsy showed her brain was less tham half the weight of a human adult brain massive brain injury beyond repair. She could never have "recovered". Her family was emotionally overburdened so some of thier behavior was understandable but People like DeLay have no excuse they are morally hollow.

  • Of course voluntary euthanasia should stay illegal! How else are my pharmaceutical shares going to increase in value?!

BTW, I've already bribed my local vet, so I've got all the insurance against a bad death I need. To hell with all you poor bastards who can't get a good death.

  • surely o wouldn't like my body to be kept alive without any brain activity, cuz i believe i am more than a beating heart and person who cannot feel or express anything its just not complete... and of course i wouldn't like to become such a sadness for my family

  • I respect your opinion, but I still think you are an idiot. I hope by the time I go that it's legal so that I don't have to impose upon a dear friend to help me do what should be my total right. I will move to Europe, or even Colombia!! before I die, where they value and respect ones' right to ones' own death and life. What is you religious freaks' obsession with controlling everyone and making them believe what you believe??!! Sigh. Peace to you no matter what you believe.

  • Your religion has no place to tell me what to do. There are downsides to euthanasia, but religion is not the way to go about it. Only until you are about to drown in your own bodily fluids, will you understand suffering. It is easy to say suffering is can be overcome and suffering is good and whatnot, but only until you really suffer will you understand.

  • gninekcis, and what makes you pre-judge suffering has not been experienced? Please look up the phrase "Lebensunwerten Lebens" and see who coined that phrase.

  • "...does not suffering provide an occasion to grow in wisdom, character, and compassion?"

Rosary could you explain how wasting away from terminal cancer can result in positive personal growth? Truth is, it does not and you know that.

  • urgannalose123, first of all, some people recover unexpectedly. Secondly, regardless how much a person may be suffering or not suffering, it is not for us to play God and decide that now is the time to murder them. Life is precious -- it is not to be terminated because it is convenient for the living.

  • According to your same logic it is not for us to play God and revive people after their heart stops for 15 minutes. God apparently gave up on her as she could and would have never recovered. If God didn't want her to go that feeding tube removal wouldn't have changed anything. The natural process was allowed to occur when her feeding tube was removed its not the other way around as you make it.

  • Because you don't own your lives. We do.

  • my question is this: are you TRULY pro-life? I assume if you say you are that you are against the killing of innocent Iraqis by a hideous president that you probably voted for??

  • tenday2, I am amazed at the stereotyping. It is not becoming of clear thought. The fact is, I did not vote for the current President. Also, I am against the invasion of Iraq.

  • Then I stand corrected and I apologize to you. I am not stereotyping, I am just tired of hypocritical so many people are.

  • Terri Schiavo was murdered. She was not comatose. She was conscious and responded to people by looking at them, vocalising, showing many types of human expressions in her face.

Father Frank Pavone, founder of Priests for Life, was present when Terri Schiavo died. He has stated publicly, before national and world media that Terri was murdered.

No one has the right to murder another innocent human being for any reason.

  • 68sgstandard, thank you very much for your comments!

  • So many falsehoods its hard to find where to start. First she was not conscious and did not respond to those around her. Those videos you saw were from a 4 hour taping which the parents have refused to release all the tape to this date. Why is it that the parents agreed with the diagnosis then pulled a 180 and pulled down information they had on their website once their views changed?

  • She was never going to come out of the comma! Her brain was shriveling up. Rosaryfilms are you affraid of death? There are fates worse than death. That kind of life is no life at all, and keeping her in that state is extremly inhumane. She had NO cognative thinking.
