Gary is great and I think it is wrong for people to blame him for Chris leaving the band. Chris left because he wanted to do something different and people should accept it. I suggest everyone go to a live show and watch and listen to Gary perform and I think you will be amazed. I have seen him several times at The Station Inn in Nashville and not only is he a great entertainer, he is a great guy and he takes the time to talk to his fans. Great voice, Great guy!

Gary's really good but you can't just replace a man like Chris Stapleton - that voice is a force of nature

in fact his voice is so amazing that people tend to overlook what a great songwriter he is.

he wrote (or co-wrote) all of their songs - let's see how that goes without him

and finally, the Jompson Brothers are also a great band - if he's happier doing that for a while I'll just wish him luck and success

I have seen them several times with Chris and with Gary, Chris made a mistake when he left them, Gary is a fantastic replacement he brings alot to the group.

Some of you people keep forgetting that Chris left them, they didn't leave him. I've been watching Gary for over a year now and he's much more comfortable and I think does a great job. I think of you just like being cruel.

Chris has one of the most incredible voices around, so its gonna be an unfair comparison, plus we're all used to hearing the songs sung by Chris. The musicianship is still grand.
