@aiboi468 the Kaoss pad is an entire effects unit. It can be used for modulation, filter sweeps, gating, weird effected sampling and more. I think the guitar setup is sweet; I just thought that all the effort involved in designing it would warrant better use of it. Instead he just kind of uses it as a cheap gimmick effect. Hopefully he'll take more advantage of it in the future.. Also, the solo is equally gimicky: noodly tapping with a cheesy triumphant key change to major.

@plassma I know what great guitar tapping solos are. Trust me heard plenty. 4 finger tapping you name it. But his creativity level and how it just makes this song stick to you.. solo and all.. says a lot. I am a guitarist and metal fan for years.. but this somehow captivates me. not the "solo" difficulty but how it compliments the rest of the song. sometimes simplicity with great note combination= a great song. Its sound is so unlike the traditional tapping/solo style. Its the note combination
