  • I have been all over YouTube and this video kicked me out of the house and to Sally's Beauty Supply for "Super Rollers". They came ten to a pack and I am starting the process now. I only hope the results are half as nice as this because some of the other videos I have seen are not the business. Thank you for uploading!

  • i love all these flexi rod videos... I have yet to try it, but I will soon!

  • I've watched this video and done this look many times on both wet hair and blow dried or air dried hair...it's wonderful...I like they way it looks on dry hair better, so some reason my curls look more like hers in the video when I do them on dry hair, and I prefer this...however....SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE to sleep in, that's the only part I don't like, and probably why I will stick to doing them wet. Nonetheless, I've started to wear this style as my "normal" hair and only straightening when I hav

  • do you have to go under the dryer or will u get the same result from air dry? and can u sleep in them?

  • @ManiMooMoo yeah you can sleep in them

  • AWESOME LOOK!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING.

  • i love this!! do you ever sleep on your flexi rods??

  • I just tried this rod method and I love the results HOWEVER it has been rainy and will continue to rain for the rest of the week (sad face). Any recommendations on styling your curls for bad weather that wont render your set as a wast of time? Any advise would be appreciated

  • I can't wait to try this. you are dabomb.com. thanks for sharing your tips

  • I love it and I have exactly 24 rods haha I've been practicing with them and my roots were puffy so I will try this braiding trick...Thankz for the tip

  • You my friend are a flexi rod pro.

  • why did you braid the root first?

  • @luvpurple95 to keep the root straight

  • Hi, please explain how your "co-washed with Joico moisturizing conditioner' DID YOU use shampoo at all? IF yes, which one.. thanks

  • cute! how did you maintain this at night?

  • This came out beautifully! I recently tried a flexi rod set after watching this video, but my hair is much shorter. Did you do this on soaking wet hair or damp? Mine was on soaking wet hair and I found that mine had much less volume than yours

  • I tried a similar technique to my daughter's hair and it came out beautifully! Thanks so much for the vid and for the wonderful tip about braiding the hair. Because she's transitioning and her roots are a bit thick, the braiding not only gave her texture, but kept the roots "in order." :)

  • hi i recently subscribed and i have a quick question. can i air dry the hair instead of going under the dryer? if so will this make the curls set as shiny and well defined as yours? i apologize if you answered this question before, thanks!

  • Cool....I was thinking about doing mine this way but twisting the roots since I don't have many rods yet. Your videos are very helpful, thanks.

  • hi, i really wanna get my hair back in shape without heat using flexi rods. did you buy your flexi rods in a set? If you did can you tell me the name of the brand, ive been searching everywhere trying to buy them in a set.

  • @bunniesattackedme That is a great idea! I didn't get my flexi-rods in a pack, I've just been collecting them little by little for a while. I did see a set/pack on amazon.com. Other than that, I have only seen them sold in six packs, sometimes 8 packs.

  • @kairox146 do you have to but them online, or can you buy them at certain stores as well?

  • Love the end result. Your hair looks great!

  • @bluevn2002 Thank you so much!

  • I am going to use this method. That's a great idea to braid the roots first. I purchased the twist and lock gel and it is amazing! The hold I get from the gel is great when I do my twist outs. Now I will be using it on my flexi rods and curl formers! Thanks for the idea!

  • @divinelady1977 Yes, the braided roots really does save time and you can get the look of a full set. I'm glad you got the gel and you like it!! It's a great product for so many things! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

  • @tayjorcolmar Do you have product (oil or serum) on your hands when you're separating the curls? I know that's what helps me. I have oil (Carol's Daughter Hair Balm) on my hand when I'm separating. Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope I was able to help <3
