  • could of gotten the same result by shornting the shifter..thats the only diffrence with cable shifters (fwd)

  • hey i have a question you know the peice that goes onto the little ball on the bottom of the shifter and attaches to the thread on the shift cables do you know what it is called because i need a new one but cant find it because i dont know what it is called if you could help me out that would be great

    sorry man i havent been on for a while, but i have no clue what that is....If it's connected to the shifter, it probably should be replaced...

  • i recommend the b&m shifter too i have one in my 04 cavi and it made a big difference it was a lil pricy though but well worth it

  • Yes that is the stock boot, and yeah you still have the safety catch thing, it's quite easier on this shifter to put it in reverse.

  • is that the stock shift boot that you have on there and do you still have to pull up safety catch to get into reverse.

  • its actually pretty easy to install, its makes a huge difference as you can see in the video. its cost for the b&m shifter is 150.00.
