All prisoners were sent off to imprisonment in Malta. British serached everywhere for evidence of war crime against Armenians.
Daily Telegraph, 29 May 1922.. nothing incriminating could be found among the Ottoman government documents. Similar searches in the British archives were fruitless.

As I wrote this trial was on in Malta for 2,5 years (1919 -1922) .That was an official international independent inspection to get pepared for the war crime trial. It dropped. We have so many offical documents here in Ankara showing Turks did not commit a genocide.. in fact all shows by opened 107 mass graves also, Armenians made ethnic cleansing to Kurds.

In 1919-1920 we have entrance registration that they returned in mass (642.000) from Syria, Lebanon when Turkey was occupied by allied forces. They started to kill again Kurdish and Turkish civilians, women, childeren.. whoever they could find.. this time under French uniforms in South East of Turkey.
When Turkey won the war, most of them just couldn't stay anymore and fled.
