this is just dumb. the earth is made 71 percent of water all you have to do is dig down far enough you would find water unless you like dig in the middle of the desert
@David192467 No offence, but then your dowsing technique could be better. This is declassified TECHNICAL dowsing that was perfected through a top secret military program. The teacher in this course is one of the U.S. Army Majors involved with the top secret program. I'll take his training over other so called "web sources". The success with this is incredible and already people have made a LOT of money with it including a $17k lottery winner using this course.
@RVProducts We all have an angel or angels working with us daily on our ultimate goals. Because barely anyone is conscious of these goals (enlightened like the dalai lama) that is why we shouldn't use this for egotistical gain. It doesn't matter if y'all do it because nature can work with whatever we do as we have free will. Rather than relying on any research work on the mind. It is our only honest savior.
@David192467 What is the problem with dowsing for gain, it is a skill like any other? Why should i get paid if I make a piece of jewelry for someone but not for using spiritual abilities? Both are using something one have trained to do and the buyer pay for ones time and effort.
@SilverJ4 YOUR MIXING FACTS!! First, what does REAL dowsing have to do with some fabricated machine designed by someone who's obviously insane? If I draw wheels on a cardboard box, does it magically become a car? The studies and facts for REAL TECHNICAL DOWSING are EVERYWHERE including over 20 years of declassifies results from U.S Army and CIA operations and experiments. Search for 'Operation Stargate' for starters.
@mikeyo1234 The evidence was already made openly available by the U.S. military when the program was decalssified. Major Paul Smith was one of the members in the top secret program when it was being used for war applications in the Middle East.
The only study I know of that comments on dowsing being real is the Munich study, and it's results are argued. Can you mention any other study please?
As a musician myself, saying "dowsing works" or "doesn't work" is like saying "guitar works" or "doesn't work". Certain people have skills and have developed skills. Dowsing, as with any instrument - tells you what's inside, not what's outside. With practice you can gain clearer reactions to what's outside. For a dowser to think the rods react to the "outside" is a mistake. Geez, if your mouth can talk, why couldn't your musicles and nervous system???
I made some rods once out of coat hangers. I had never played with this before. I had my daughter randomly lay 12 magazines around the living room floor and put a quarter under one. The floor was carpet. I was in another room and didn't see where she put it. I walked around the room and repeatedly the rods crossed over the magazine with the coin under it. I did it over and over and never missed one. I do not believe any micro movements were involved.
yeah i did something like that. im pretty good at using a pendulum and today i used it to find a book that i had lost. and it worked. i found it in like 2 minutes.
To suggest that water divining relates to ESP is ridiculous. The authors have no idea because they cannot explain the phenomena. I have divined for 40 years plus and have developed the skill, but I have no idea why it works. And yes, I have walked over ground for days without getting a reaction, and have reported so.
how does dowsing work? is anybody doing any good double-blind experiments to see if it works? has there been any scholarly articles published on dowsing in any peer reviewed journals?
Yes, yes and yes. This was a top secret military program and double blind tests with odds of 100,000 to 1 were executed with dowsers hitting their targets. Many scientific articles and studies have been done and are available.
The military program referred to was called "Project Stargate". It was one of several late 70s research projects into the paranormal and is a pet example of promoters of the field, because former participants have gone private and now actively promote their skills. However, reliable, peer reviewed data has not been published. A good book on the project is Jon Ronson's "The men who stare at goats" (don't confuse with upcoming fictional movie of the same name), though its not very critical.
Ditto. I don't understand how people can say definitively say Dowsing works when it can never be replicated under scientific conditions. It's always anecdotal evidence like the comment @spunright left. Not saying it's fake. Just saying there is nothing other than anecdotal evidence for it.
@RVProducts "Scientific studies" just say whatever the scientist at hand wants them to say. There have been plenty of "Studies" that have shown just the opposite. It's better just to go out and do it for yourself than to look for some reason to be skeptical and check out a bunch of worthless studies.
"Scientists" will always disagree on anything and everything. One thing that nobody should disagree on is that first hand knowledge is better than 1,000 opinions.
@oayia Look it up on wikipedia. They cite quite a few studies on it throughout the years. And they all show the results to be no greater than probability dictates.
Randi's challenge requires odds of 1,000,000 to one. That's the equivalent of a person jumping over a 20 foot wall. Sure no one can do it. What questions me about the unamazing James Randi is where the hell is James gonna get that 1 million$ and where the **** is he gonna get some more if everyone pass that test?
One of my friend went outside in the Garden and hide my car key in a black plastik rap.
He hade hide it in the Garden. My friend went inside the house, and my other friends came with me. 5 of the 4 I found back. I really cound not see it. (big garden) And afther
quantum entanglement doesn't even come close to explain this "phenomenon", because a quantum state of some particles doesn't tell about the state a whole system, such as a brain.
I learned to dowse five years ago when I moved to Vermont. The headquarters for the American Society of Dowsers is in Danville, VT. There is an annual meeting with many many worthwhile speakers and teachers end of July. I invite you to check out their website. Dowsing has changed my life.
does it really work? I was thinking about buying a dowsing DVD but there's this voice in the back of my head that keeps screaming "you're getting scammed."
Yes, there is actually something to this. Major Paul Smith was a very respected military intelligence officer and his dowsing set is based on real scientific research. I just got my wet in the mail and I have to admit I'm pretty blown away.
Yeah, but the dowsers really believe it. This lot should make an easy $1,000,000 over at the James Randi Educational Foundation. Or are they going pretend they don't want the money?
Trust me, James Randi is a con artist. There are LOTS of Remote Viewers that have completely passed his test but he refuses to give up the money. The test has to be taken under HIS rules and are extrememly specific. He finds exscuses to say that you did "do th etest right". You really think he would be willing to hand over amillion bucks when it really comes right down to it? LOL... what a joke.
Pookie, why do you lie? If you knew anything about the challenge, you'd know its carefully worked out in advance between the foundation, and each claimant to avoid abiguity. James Randi is not involved in the experiment, nor in the judging.
Dont be fooled. James has a tramendous influence on all of the testing and rules. Many Remote Viewers have PROVEN that the skill works over and over and over and yet everytime, the money is never handed out. They define the rules in such a way so that it is almost impossible to to "pass" the test. I KNOW what I'm talking about actual testing results.
its true about randi but people are ignorant and follow him like a sheep, thats why randi runs scared of challenges that are not done through his crappy foundation even when he has the input with scientists, he is a con man, but thats what you get when a cult of personality develops around someone.

eg You shoudl not dowse for gain......+when you are dowsing you are not TRYING to do anything.......as the narator suggests.

freefun123 4 years ago
Read "Entangled Minds" by Dr. Dean Radin if you are interested in some in depth (but not PhD thesis level) reading.
Basically, (take a deep breath) psi phenomena works by the brain experiencing quantum entanglement.
Know Bell's theorem/inequality. Checkout retrocausality. They are profound and understanding them could equally change your view of reality.

Pigeons have tiny magnetic particles inside their brains and beaks. Homing pigeons can use the Earth's magnetic field to travel over long distances.
At one time this was laughed at by mainstream science. Now we know the method. In the future we will find out how dowsing works.
