I have a new second favorite team.. I Love LSU but Georgia Tech is looking awsome with running that high potent Wing T/ Spread option offense... Nesbit is alot better than i thought he was going to be.. The Rambling Wreck is going to be them bulldogs... Paul Johnson is a awsome coach...

idk y they dont give dwyer the ball more often? he has an 8.1 avg per rush. that is ridiculous. more then most wide receivers. do they not consider him as an every down back? still only 10 attempts on average per game? they are just not using his full potential. he has 141 yards vs miss st. on 9 attempts. 15.7 avg. should a coach not realize his potential and play him more often?

Its the nature of the offense. The defense decides who gets the ball. If they take away the fullback there is really nothing you can do.

Nice performance this week by the Jackets! Some concerns have been a little bit relieved, and the DLine looks like it could be the best in the country! Tack on the fact that the ACC is possibly worse than it has ever been, and this could actually end up being a good year for the Ramblin' Wreck!

Let them criticize, who cares? To take a team that's been a consistent 7-win team and now bring in MORE offensive threats?  Plus a coach whose goal is to defeat the in-state rival? There will be doubters among rival fans and among the "experts" at the TV networks, but the GT fans know that this is a great year to be a Yellow Jacket!

I agree. Even if we can only muster up 4 or 5 wins I'll be ecstatic. The learning curve in this offense is pretty intense so they might need some slack on the criticism this year, but once PJ gets things rolling with the players he wants... good things are bound to happen. GO JACKETS!

WOW... you have no idea what you're talking about. Have you ever heard of the triple option? The triple option is just ONE of the many formations we will be using. This offense is pretty complex... and for a team that is learning it for their first year... I'd be happy with 5 wins. I would say I feel bad for someone as stupid as you.. but I don't.

You're not very bright are you? Georgia Tech has one of the nation's longest active bowl streaks. Only Michigan, FSU, Florida, and Virginia Tech have been in more consecutive bowl games. There have been a large number of changes made at Georgia Tech in the offseason though, so it's only natural to prepare for the worst.

Yes, y'all deserve that #3 ranking so much. Big bad South Carolina, ASU (lost to UNLV), Georgia Southern and some school up in....Minnesota, or Michigan, or Delaware or somewhere. One of the SEC's most heralded defenses just waltzed in to ACC country and got their tails whipped. UGA plays maybe 3 good teams this year. That's not a tough schedule. GT's schedule isn't anything to fuss about either, but at least we don't sit around and brag and sell out our team for more than they're worth like UGA

Uga: FLorda: 42 30: Auburn: 45 20: and the list goes on. and south carliona is good. there what u call a rival and have steve spurierur, so they play uga tough every year. and we have to best runnig back in the nation. one of the best qb's. South Carolina's only win was over a pitiful NC State team. Auburn and UF both had down years last year. I wouldn't call Moreno #1 (although he is good) just yet because keep in mind that you have not played a single good team this year, and AJ Green is no Calvin Johnson. Calvin would have had at least 6 TDs already. Reason CJ never scored vs UGA is because of Reggie Ball, who wanted to steal the show. 8 straight> 7 straight, 4 NCs> 2 NCs, 48-0>51-7.

ok knowshon hasent played a team yet. i mean he played tech. so i guess tech sucks. and flordia auburn and south carolina could all blow out tech last year. they are very good teams they are in the sec it is very hard to win. and i garente that calvin had 6 touch downs in his first 4 games in his freshman year. i bet u ugas 3rd string running back is better than gts 1st. ya u have more national ships. but that happend inb like the 1920s

Sure he did good against us, but I wouldn't say he was #1 for it. Knowshon Moreno is not too much better than Jonathon Dwyer (keep in mind that Dwyer played a very talented VT rush defense).

Now, of the three BCS teams we've played this year, all have fairly decent defenses. Also, we rush more people than UGA does, so naturally Dwyer is going to have less rushing yards. Does that mean anybody wearing UGA colos is better at rushing? Not really. And seeing as how we now rank #3 in rushing offense and UGA is #35, I'd say you might want to wait until the season folds out to say that any of your rushers are better than ours.
