I was at the shore in new jersey today metal detecting and saw this guy doing this with wetsuit on. The first time seeing this live and wow he was having a ball windy day took off half a mile out to sea and back spoke to him a minute. Jumping the waves and all this will keep the adrenaline going!!!!!!

I was in this event, like 256 steps from my house to there, it was pretty fun, managed to get up 20ft.

Matanzas only works on an outgoing tide, when a 3-4 know current opposes the wind, making it very easy to get back upwind!

thanks for the video... the only time i've been to matanzas is when i started at the Oasis and drifted down there while surfing.. there was about a 3mph current that day and it really sucked
