Hi. I am new to all the Cricuts. I have the Imagine and just got the gypsy. I am having so many problems I can't seem to get the gypsy imagine application to uploading on my gypsy I have read everything everywhere and I can't seem to get it. every time it pops up the box saying gypsy imagine app a few seconds later I get a pop up saying my device is connected but not communcting recycle power. I unplug it and plug it back up and it uploads the imagine content but I still get the message
Love ur video! Maybe my gypsy isnt updated all the way but when i cut something from regular cart i have to put that one in the imagine too. I noticed u didnt have to.
HI Sorry me again but I dont understand why you had to insert the JT cartridge. I havent been asked to insert a cartridge yet when cutting on the imagine from the gypsy ? thanks :-)
@DaisieMae12 Thank you for your comments! I feel that these videos help those of us who are visual learners, besides I'm not sure they put instructions out for the updates! Let me see if I can explain this, maybe I'll do a follow up video....when you load your Imagine cartridges on your gypsy, the entire cartridge and "instructions" do not load. It's just the visual part of the cartridge. continued....
The Imagine machine needs the actual 'instructions' on what to color and cut. So, you need to insert the Imagine cartridge in the machine so it knows what to do. The files, for lack of better term, on the imagine cartridges are just too big to fit on the gypsy so we only get the visual part loaded. Does that make sense??? I hope I explained that well. The reason I changed from Audry to JT was I used patterns from both carts.
Its so helpful I do videos myself and I couldnt see anyone who had done any vidoes on tis update. It seemed that it was so like what we already had on the imagine but some of things you have said have helped me out so much and I can already now see where this is different and no doubt where they will gradually take it. this video was awesome!!! I had wondered if you could cashe patterns from cartridges, but you show you just change cartridges so that is great !!! thanks for the video!!!!
This was so usefull and so well presented I learned so much about the features, I can't wait to try it out. Unfortunately the day the update was available my imagine had to be returned as it was faulty....I am so lost without it :-(

I missed the comment on welding do we weld save the file then open in the imagine app on the gypsy? I have not updated my G for about 6 mos!
