I liked the game but I must admit I was dissapointed that the didn't have at least a hidden scene between Janus and Schala. And If the game had a bonus ending that showed that relationship I would have loved it. Too bad they didn't have the time or funds to develop this story line. Instead they slapped a mask on him and transfomed his sprite into the two dementional charictar that is known as Guile in the American version

its a good game, but the battle system was kinda hard to understand! either than that good graphics and storyline was very good! but chronotrigger was far superior!

I've been gaming for 15 years and I have yet to find a video game opening that is as beautiful and breathtaking as this one. The only one that I'd even put in the same zip code is Legend of Dragoon and even then it's a distant second.

@SAgueros indeed, sir. Storyline is a bit difficult to piece together for the majority of people i've talked to but I still recommend it ;P

@SAgueros It is and it sort of isn't. It's not a direct sequel and none of the original characters from Chrono Trigger are playable characters. It's sort of a stand-alone sequel but there are some references to CT. If you were a big fan of CT, I'd still highly recommend this game. My biggest argument with this game was that there were WAY too many characters you could recruit to your party, most of which are completely useless. Although, it is easy to figure out which characters are the best.

first played this game when i was 15, now 24, for me, it transpired the definition of "game" and was more an experience, earlier tonight i found out that Mr. Yasunori Mitsuda was the artist behind this soundtrack and Xenogears, another soundtrack that i feel especially strong about, i discovered something about myself in this, im no one special but i say Mitsunori Matsuda knows how to touch the human heart

Yess you're tatally true..!! I love this more than anything..!!! Even FF or Tales Of... can't beat this wonderful RPG game ever..!! Well I just wishing that I could play this again.. It is hard to find any of PS1 at gamestore at my place these day.. My previous PS1 already been sold coz of other new gaming console.. :'(

Yea, me too, i doubt Square Enix is gonna make a remake too because the first remake they made was only like a year or a little bit less than a year past the original release date, but it had no added content so it was a bust and disappointed many fans D:

@RazielSaint Yasunori Mitsuda is a great composer. I actually enjoy his music slightly more than Nobuo Uematsu (of final fantasy fame). Yasunori Mitsuda did Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, and the Xenogears games, to name a few.

Amazing game for the PSX. To my knowledge it hasn't been released in PAL, but can be imported. May be the best game I ever played.
