From now on, i only want to see that kind of movies in theatre !! there are so many that are forgotten once you've seen them ! this one will probably age well, with time !! let's hope some directors will have the smartness to think about it twice before doing shitty selfish-ego movies with big useless budget !!!

The movie was great, I went with lots of doubts, but I enjoyed the movie since the first sec. Beatiful shots, beatiful photography, Eisenberg is captivating, awesome performance. Justin Timberlake was allright but I mean he didn't even changed his pronunciation, I don't like him. The movie is not so much about facebook/zuckerberg themselves but society nowadays. I really liked it.

Shame on you for endorsing such a repulsively sexist and misogynistic film. Let’s start from the beginning. Mark’s love interest is brilliant, quick-witted and respectable. She delivers the strongest line of the script (the one in which she conveys that he’s an asshole.) But it needs to be made clear that she is a BU student, while he a Harvard man. We saw no intelligent co-eds (at Harvard,) or co-workers (in the facebook company,) who could hold their own with the guys.

@MeredithOD That's the point! They're all misogynistic a-holes!! That's why her part was so important; it was pivotal in conveying who Mark Zuckerberg is. He's just a wounded dork on a power trip... a very rich one who can do whatever he wants, obviously... and not a terribly bad person as CEOs go. So, cool it with your fanatical feminist rant. The movie wasn't promoting misogyny... but, at the same time it WAS promoting facebook... which is a genius move by the people who made it happen.

@gr4nd7h3f731373 you do realize that mark zuckerberg is not listed as a producer, nor is he head of the studio which distributed the film, therefore the movie's take doesn't affect zuckerberg's income. and why would it matter? even if the movie pushed money towards zuckerberg, it'd be pennies compared to what he makes every single day.

..the movie is not even a true story.. the founder of face book was on Oprah and said it was "entertainment, nothing more".. this is an unauthorized movie..

It's a "true" story, but it's all based on how people remember events. Mark did not participate in the book or the film, so his side of thing is not well represented.

In terms of truth though, remember the blog posts are verbatim, and I believe Aaron Sorkin used the actual deposition transcripts.

You may be surprised how accurate this is.
