Thanx for putting this up and all the other ones. I need the encouragement. Until Joel came along, I quit listening to preachers because the ones I saw were focused on seed money and condemnation. It's rough in the world, and what I need is encouragement, not some preacher's weekly dish of heavy guilt. I think many folks who are trying their best to follow Jesus get discouraged. Joel has a good shepherd's heart. If I lived within 250 miles of Lakewood, I'd so be there every week.

But, now, thanks to the Blood of Jesus, we can assert Psalm 149, which says "To execute the judgment written, this honour have all his saints." @paulfbest I know what you are talking about. In 1996 I lost my job due to my heath. I pastored a church from 196-2003 and the devil tried his best to kill me, kill my testimony, take my health and send wolves in sheep clothing. I had to step down in 2003 because of my health but since then I've been in a wheel chair twice and had 3 spine operations. But praise God I'm out the wheel chair and back in the ministry. I am walking and talking again for Jesus and I'm 60 years old.
