  • What mount?

  • What mount did you use???

  • You don't have to drill holes for good sound quality, it comes with a separate back piece with an opening. If you drill holes you ruin the waterproofing.

  • @TheJOELcam

This was the original GoPro Video Cam I bought from their first SEMA show appearance so the sound quality isn't as good as what is out in the market now. You have to remember that this is a 4 year old camera now and GoPro has gone through leaps and bounds in making the new generation of GoPro Cameras one of the greatest in the market.

  • no sh%$! sherlock!

  • how did it fall off..... did it just fall on its own?

  • they have a lot helmet packages and body they work awesome highly recommend

  • Yeah I just my Go Pro HD today. Took it on a test run and already have a tether in place. The case is very strong but any 3,000 lbs car will crush it, id rather have it dangle than run over. It's truly an amazing camera and I hope to enjoy it for driving, scuba, skiing, etc. Good to hear yours held up, thank god for the tough/ replaceable case.

  • hey..i want to buy one but are they coming with something that you don't need to drill hole in helmet..? like a seal or something like they do with gps in car...?

  • the helmet mounts are 3m double sticky tape and hold up quite well. I don't think you'd have any issues with a gopro. they are now available in HD as well.

  • for a nice amount of money too:P

  • @NextSLDNX LAWL LAAWL LAWL LAWL you thought you needed to drill a hole in the helmet?!!? HA! im sory but that really funny

  • @arandomthot5 i dunno what i was saying there but nyway i got one now haha

  • ouch! Was it still all good after that? It looks to be.

  • It still works perfectly, sound quality is great. Just either drill holes in the case and or remove the seal.

  • That is exactly why I tie mine to the window frame. At least if the suction cup gives out at speed it won't hit the ground to be run over.

  • I wish mine still recorded when it blew off, but no it had to corrupt the file. Oh well, it still works.
