CM Punk is a good champion, he's being built up as a perfect heel. Jobbers were tradition in wrestling, also traditionaly you didn't have to be a big guy and have a great physique until WWF/E forced them down our throats. Dory and Terry Funk, Jack Brisco, Bob Backlund, Harley Race, prime Flair, wot was wrong with them. Also check out Punk's 5 star matches with Samoa Joe in ROH. He is doing just fine.

ya but cm punk didn t beat huge guys everytime he won the title. Edge and Jeff are both the same size as punk and punk is also a striker. It doesnt matter how big you are if you get kneed in the head by anyone of any size its gona fuck up. Plus cm ounk paid his dues in the indies and is a much better wrestler as far as ring skills than most of the wwe.

Maybe the reason why CM Punk doesn't have the body builder look is probably because he can ACTUALLY wrestle and not jack himself full of steroids to put on a GOOD match, its bullshit wrestlers like Warrior and Hogan that make wrestling look so goddamn fake, more of a circus act, and more about entertainment instead of wrestling.

I do agree with your opinion on jobbers, with the focus being put on the wrestlers/superstars with developing their characters and building up for a PPV match.

I can agree to some degree, but the truth is his Straight-edge personality IS straight-edge and ever since he started in WWE they didn't know how to use him and market him properly with his personality. I remember seeing CM Punk as a heel with his matches and promos in ROH and FIP and he just pulled it off so well, he's good at being an asshole/self-rightious/straigh­t-edge heel character, I like how they're finally letting him get his deserved time. WWE has three world titles. So I don't take world titles in the WWE serious. We had one world title in the WWE at one time. It use to be so special but now we have two world titles and one class A title "ECW". It's a clusterfuck of too many wrestlers.

I think the death of squash matches has been very bad for wrestling. Guys don't get their moves over as well & they help build cred for the real stars.

I agree that Punk didn't take the proper path on his way to the title. Hell he lost all his PPV matches inbetween Mania & Extreme Rules where he won the belt back. 

I think right now, he's the best act in the WWE, but they took the wrong steps to build him up. That's not his fault at all. Just bad booking.
