  • I like both.

  • you ripped on the kid that shot at 1250 during the day (mountain raw edit) and now you do it and its ok??

  • Its cold its novemmer its black and white its a bad shot you shot with D3 LOL

go and get you D40 and bump up you head more.

  • Ohhhh black agian wtf dude amatore its 2011 bump up you head Polin

  • how do u edit nikon raw videos with out them laging

  • I like Greg's, really like the color.

  • first of all...I love your stuff Jared

second..... I like both of these edits, but when I look at them

the black and white says wedding photo and the color says advertisement to me.

Maybe it's just how I'm seeing it, but in this particular photo, the shift from black and white to color makes them seem to have been taken for two different purposes. Neither is better than the other, just different. My humble opinion :)

  • move up on the blacks neeeeeiiiii

goo back on the blacks yeeeeeeiiiii

    :D:D::D:D

  • Nice edit guys!

  • haha jared you kept gregs fail in :DDDDDDD

  • JARED ALWAYS GO FOR BLACK & WHITE! always!

  • Quick question? how much do you guys use lightroom vs photoshop? I know you guys use lightroom to help us learn a lot but you gotta admit, there are times when to get a shot to it's full potential, you need some of the in detailed edits only capable through Ps in my opinion...just curious to here ur thoughts on it..

  • Further- degree

    Farther- distance

You are further along in photography.

    You are farther from me.

  • they forgot to crop this one

  • Gregs photo looked better and more contasty when you were comparing, i think its due to Gregs screen recordings. Love them both though, top work!

  • @jbsordan It's Adobe Lightroom 3.3 he's using :).

  • Both looks sexy

  • definately both

  • I have to say, that I liked jared´s editing on this one, but I would have definitely cropped it a little, I dont like the cables showing on top, maybe respecting the aspect ratio but, definitely would have cropped it.

  • why don't you become a partner Jared? :)

  • Hey Jared can you do a whats in your dock video, interested to see the software you use. Cheers from Australia

  • I liked Greg this week

  • I like Jareds, He keeps editing simple.

  • Hey guys! Excellent video as always...

I keep reading all over the internet that RAW files have a little more noise than a jpeg, because there hasnt been anything done to them in terms of noise treatment. But why do you guys never touch the noise reduction in lightroom? you dont find it necesary at all?

  • I thik Greg won this week. The b&w makes them disappear. My eyes goes straight to the train on Jared's.

  • Jared always does better edits.

  • i wonder how many takes these guys take

  • This was really fun :D

  • Jared Or Greg, could you do a vid about the new firmware on the d3100? plz

  • @TomShootsPhoto what would u like to know?

  • @JaredPolin If it is safe to update, how do you do it , and whats new. PLZ!!! there are soo many d3100 users out there !! PLZ!

  • They probably had to pay for this picture.. and here we are downloading it for free.

  • You guys actually agreed on each other's edits. Haha!

  • "BOOM with the contrast! BOOM with the contrast!" lol

  • Fro, "BOOM" would be an awesome dubstep song!

  • we want a d3s file :D

  • Another one for Greg....

  • is cropping an option?

  • @Thaikid13 u can edit any way u want.

  • Greg's edit was indeed a little red (tint), but I think Jared's edit would have benefit from some vignetting.

  • What shortcuts (and/or mouse combination) do you use to zoom in.. into a specific area of the photo?

  • What shortcuts (and/or mouse combination) do you use to zoom in.. into a specific area of the photo?

  • Hey Jared, where were your focus points in this picture? Was it focused on the guy?

  • @QuannieBoy Prob on his face.

  • @JaredPolin One cool Feature on Aperture is it show's you the focus point's on the picture. Does Lightroom do that?

  • @QuannieBoy Focus point was on the woman's abdominal

  • I agree with what Greg says at 11'33

  • Jared or Greg, Can you explain the difference between the exposure slider and the brightness slider in lightroom? When and why would i use the brightness slider?

  • @rticknor

type Exposure and Brightness sliders Adobe into google, and your first result will be Adobe's explanation of it. I'd give you the link, but youtube won't let me.

  • They kinda look a little sunburned to me.(sorry Greg still love ya!) i like the b/w version better. Cool train!

  • I'll come back later when its processed :)
