I am from Russia and thanks to God, I'm Muslim. During USSR existence, we were deceived by soviet propaganda about afghan "dushmans" fighting against our soldiers. Even my far relative-Muslim was in Afghanistan executing his army duty. However new time came and many of Muslims got to know Islam and truth about Soviet-Afghan war.

Yes, I watched your video. The picture of Massoud and Hekmatyar you are referring to was taken in 1993 when they were invited by the Saudi king for peace negotiations over Kabul. That is why they are sitting side by side because it was a press conference concerning the peace talks. But Hekmatyar would not stick to the Islamabad Accord of 1993. They were never friends. Hekmatyar and the Pakistani ISI first tried to assassinate Massoud as early as 1975 when Massoud was 22.

Second, Massoud was an Islamic mystic and there are indeed few leaders who have tried to honestly seek God as he did. Ahmad Shah Massoud defended the dignity of Islam in the eyes of humanity. He took his confidence in Islam not from hatred towards others (as Al-Qaeda fascism does) but from pride into his own believe, culture but at the same time friendliness and openess towards the world.

It shows that originally there was only one source, Hisham bin Urwah, (which has been quoted by other sources) which put the age of Ayesha at 9, but from other more credible sources you can derive the age of 15-19 for Ayesha. So, you cannot base your "edicts" on inconsistent info but only on the Qur'an, which gives the above mentioned conditions.

Firstly the narration of Hisham is in Sahih Muslim and is MORE CREDIBLE than the other sources like "history of tabari"

Secondly its not just because the Prophet (saw) married her at that age, but in Islam 15 and 9 are the age of maturity, so even if the Prophet (saw) had not married at that age we still have these ages from Islamic sources and there is nothing about 18 or 21 or 16 being the age of maturity

As for it being "harmful" for a 9 year old to marry a 40 year old, thats not always the case, yes it CAN be harmful but sex can always be harmful at any age and for many many reasons (if someone has heart problems, or through sexual disease etc.) but does that mean marriage has to banned to stop the potential spread of disease or harm?

Marrying at the age of 9 is always traumatic if it includes sexual relations to an adult and it bears the risk of rape and (potential) death more than anything else. A 12-year-old Yemeni child bride died of internal bleeding following intercourse only three days after she was married off to an older man. That is not an exception. One last thing ... The Qur’an defines the marriageable age for a man or woman when he or she attains soundness of judgment over an issue such as marriage and property issues (Qur’an 4:6). This clearly excludes children from getting married. Scientifically and from an educational view, sound judgement in such issues could be attributed towards the end of puberty. Puberty is a process not a single snapshot and the process is scientifically completed around 16-17 (girls) and 17-18 (boys).
