Im fuckin devastated man. He made life bearable as a kid for me. I will never forget the DRFSR VHS concert. It is fuckin amazing and I still get goose bumps listening to it. He was one of the all time greatest singers and front man in the hard rock business. His voice was perfect!

JL was the best pure songwriter (and the only one with huge beatles influence) of the metal/80's, ask any serious songwriter. dude came up with hooks/melody lines you could knock down walls with -- and ULTRAPHOBIC and DOG AND DOG was serious "cult albums" among rock fans of all hard rock eras, zeppelin to modern/whatever.

I just got back from the Warrant Show in Tampa with Robert Mason singing. I admit I was bummed to hear Jani wasn't in the band but Robert kicked ass! And after hearing this clip, I'm glad Robert's in the band.

I saw Warrant twice back in their heyday and they were great. Hopefully Jani gets his act together but Robert is a hell of a replacement.

Messed up with booze, sure » Sober Jani's voice is WAY MORE powerful than Robert Mason, and he reaches all the notes, no problem ... I've seen it, 3 times over '07-'08. Jani has a bigger voice than Mason, who's voice is paper-thin in comparison ... A higher voice does not = power.

I was always a big fan of the metal/hair/glam of the 80's - 90's. I am a professional drummer in a different genre but i listen to all the greats from the past. I must say out of all of them, skid row, bon jovi, G&R, and it goes on. Lani is in the worst shape, if he wanted to his voice is still there, but he f's up everything. IMHO Sebastian Bach, Axl Rose, Bon Jovi and those others still around still have it. Jani is done, and i hate that, such a great talent. Have a bottle of H2O Jani & sing!

i had tickets to see them in concert in columbus oh on their reunion tour and they refused to do the show. it was suposed to be them and cinderella but their lead sing severed his vocal cords and the band was replaced with ratt. warrant refused to play with them. the show ended up bein ratt and great white which was a kick ass show. i have a video from the show on my profile. go check it out

After the line "No matter what your friends might say" They yelled out "Fuck 'em." Meaning the friends of the person he is singing to. Lane used to use throw that out in the song. It's on the live album like that.

Robert Mason of Big Cock & Lynch Mob did a few days later. From the footage I have seen Robert is amazing (as he was in Big Cock & Lynch Mob) He does the music so much more justice than Jamie St James did. It was sad to see Jani do this, we saw him at Rocklahoma (show after the above mentioned Vegas one) and he was VERY good, a little reserved but he nailed it. Then few weeks later to see this at Rock the Bayou was sad.
