do not, by any means dye your hair jet black, instead if you were to dye it a dar dar color, try a dark chesnut brown, or other neutral brown.

@kelseyr2 if u go black use the semi/demi hair color b/c it washes out in ac couple washes but it is hard to get out using permanent hair color .go to a local sally's .

but then i got highlights,

and now my eyebrows are like turning freaking redish

my hair like yours, is a natural medium/dark ash blonde, i use to dye it lighter and i hadn't dyed it it in over a year so the ends were much lighter than my roots so i tried dying it a light brown and it came out a dark brassy blonde. i hate it and i'm trying to get it back to my natural color, would you reccomend using revlon dark ash blonde on my hair? will it eliminate the brassiness?

I saw some girl in my grade who used to have red hair (Really special ed). And she'd died her hair blonde from red. I have red hair and seeing that was kind of like a slap in the face, it's like when people bleach their skin, you should be happy with yourself!

I mean, red hair is something good, it's not like dwarfism or anything!

I think the Auburn color works better for you, usually people with blue eyes will look good with red hair, I am a natural redhead, I have pale skin and dark blue eyes, and no other colors look good on me except red, so that is that I stay with.

The reason the red looks good on you is because you have blue eyes, blue and red are compliment each other, the red hair color makes your eyes stand out, with the blonde, it makes them less noticable.

it is a lot of work! if you're going to do it you have to commit. I started when I was 14, and once you start you'll always have roots (unless you can get it back to natural and let the roots grow out unoticeably)
