Not only did Mansell and Hill have less fuel but weren't the Renault and Ferrari engines both more powerful than the Ford? I can't remember. I know the Renault was very good, as was the Ferrari at speed circuits. Very odd that they were both blasted away by the Benetton.

Ayrton Senna spoke to Prost a few times before Imola about Benneton cheating with computer aids. I wonder whether he pushed too hard to compete with Benetton's advantage which lead to his crash. It is like the Ben Johnson steroids use that helped him beat Lewis in Olympic 100metres.

This is blatant Launch and Traction control, a getaway that fast these days would be suspicious!! But why didnt the FIA call ly Benetton in for checks during Quali and Practice like they do these days? Or was it because they only fitted it for the race? And why didnt the FIA scrutineer after the race? Bizarre. Especially considering Mclaren's penalty for doing almost the same thing (i.e having info but no proof of using it)

They did check the Benneton car. They found a T/C and Stability control program on Schui's car, and the test car. However the ones on Shui's car apparently was 'disconnected'. And therefor no penalty was enforced.

With the weight saving they attempt, I would have thaught having unused items on a car would be stupid. But then again - Its clear to see; its been used.

Yup, and also, do you remember how his marvelous pit strategy helped him win in Brazil, by passing Senna in the pits with an illegal fuel rig, he couldn't pass him on track so he had to cheat! Also the Benetton team's fantastic 'pit strategies' nearly killed Verstappen in Germany that year as a result of their ignorance to the dangers the removing of the device caused.

Well, if you understood the mechanics of launch control, it is a very driver-orientated device and completely operated by the driver (ie. the driver must select a certain setting and sequence)

People blame Schumacher - aswell as the team; because Schumacher would have known that his car had traction control; just as he would have known the fuel filler had no filter; Yet he still raced and tried to fool people into thinking he is a fair driver. And those who think he is fair have only been fooled.
