For the guy who asked if it will beat a M6 in a drag race. It would be close, the M6 might edge it out. But the M6 costs 100k brand new and the Shelby is more like 50k. With a $8000 whipple blower/intake/throttlebody/ECU tune upgrade from Ford Racing (which keeps factory warranty intact when installed by a ford dealer), the Shelby is now hovering around 700rwhp and will annihilate almost any comparable new $60,000 car in a straight line drag race.

Lol catfish. It's supposed to bring visual cues from the original shelby ac Cobra. Although production mustangs from the 60s didn't come with sequentail taillights. The cougar and Tbird had them. If you saw a mustang with seq. tailights its cause the owner added them on aftermarket.

People buy these GT500s and GT500KRs and don't even drive them. Guy in Indianapolis at the ford dealer we bought our 2010 mustang gt from, bought a GT500KR for 76k (marked down from 82k). And he told the dealers he didn't plan on driving it, just to store it in a garage. The guy paid off the whole damn car when he bought it too.
