Por favor. alguien podría pasarme algún enlace de esta película pero que este subtitulada en español? no en idioma español si alguien me la puede pasar pongo mi dirección de correo.
One of the worst openings ever made. Is this Top Gun Part 2?!! The only good thing is the talented Anthony Quinn. He literally saved this movie! Madeline Stowe is trying to redeem herself. ABC's Revenge anyone?? Yeah, I thought so!!
This is a beautiufl movie but I don,t like it they cut so much of it. if someone sees this movie for the first time it won,t understand what was going on. all the beautiful sexual parts are cut. mannnnnnn
this film had more adventure than I thought it would although , the plot with the stealing of a king pins wife with armed security and eyes everywhere its rather obvious that that kind of an affair ,only leads to an awful outcome ....and it does , ...how could one expect a different outcome ,the final part in the movie was as sad as Ive ever seen, to sum it up a really stupid relationship ,great adventure , great movie all in all
Por lo visto la cancion del principio, la de las imagenes del caza,no esta en la BSO de Jack Nitzsche...me estoy volviendo loco para encontrarla porque me encanta...alguien sabe algo?? First scene song tittle???
Funny thing about this movie was Tony Scott had another movie out the same time, because he had a tight schedule between this and Days of Thunder; from Paramount. So, sometimes a director is put in an unusual situation, if you're doing 2 movies; like, you have one movie in post-production and another movie you're already shooting.
Great film but so unforgettably brutal... La mayoría de las películas de tan gran calidad además de muchas menos buenas no sobreviven tanto tiempo aqui. Hope it's all there. Many thanks.
wow! Now you've made me want to see the theatrical version. Although if in the cabin scene Stowe's character makes Cochran say "I love you" it might have taken away the impact from the last scene when they both say it to each other, first Cochran at bedside, and then Mireya outside the convent.
yeah you might be right. that's something to think about :) but also while in the cabin cochran was somehow "forced' to say "i love you", lol, in the convent because we knew it was from the heart, it was just as impressive I think :)
Thanks 'pearlmode' for the reply on my question. I actually purchased the Unrated Director's Cut of this film, and I'm glad I did. There are quite a few good scenes that the online post does not show.
Well, as far as I've seen, Scott cut out most of the scenes that could be called romantic or the scenes that perfectly show the tension between the two. It was like everything was rendered purely into sex. The lemonade scene in Cochran's house was cut short, their scene at the beach was cut short, the cabin scene was cut short.
Basically, Scott opted for longer sex scenes but unfortunately he cut out the dialogue that really made relationship something more than sexcapades, so to speak :). For example, the scene where Stowe's character makes Cochran say "I love you" in the cabin is missing! I really had big hopes for the Director's Cut but unfortunately I think it just offers "hotter" sex and violence scenes, which would be totally ok with me if only he hadn't butchered the rest.
Me encanta esta peli que no me canso de verla y Kevin, Anthony y Madelein son unos actores de primera, ah... por cierto por este actor le puse a mi hijo KEVIN en su honor.
I think this is a director's cut. You'll notice the scene where Anthony Quinn throws the dog in the pool for mauling his fighter pilot jacket is missing too.
This is definetly the director's cut. And that guy crawling in the desert is Kevin Costner. I prefer the theatrical version though. I wasn't happy with the stuff Scott chose to cut out.
Again that's something the director decided to throw in, to show the future of Jay Cochran, how he is gonna end up in the desert all beaten and bloody. One minute he is off the ground glorious and victorious and the next minute he's crawling on the ground. Clash of the past and future. Of course with all the blood and deformed face, it barely looks like Costner but I'm pretty sure that's him.
Kevin Costner: Got to know Richard Burton on the return plane from his honeymoon with Cindy (first wife) in Puerto Vallarta, who advised him to give everything up completely if he wanted to pursue acting (1978).
I guess Kevin told Tony Scott about Puerto Vallarta for the filming location.
One of the best films of Tony scott !!!

You may be right but I personally preferred the flight shots uninterrupted.

Oh, definitely, me too! Flight shots were not interrupted at all in the theatrical version. I wish Scott had left it like that in Director's Cut.
