I wouldn't be able to tell you precisely but I looked on an older PC and I could plug it in.

The port is called "game" (how proper...) and it seems like it's absent on newer CPU's. Think I could use any of the other ports with an adaptor?

Ok the old game port that used to plug into the sound cars in the old days. You might need to google around to see if there is an adapter, but am not sure if in the end it will work. You can play with a controller though.

I tried either playing with keyboard and with psx-like controllers and still I can't perform the tail-spin like on the arcade (example 0:56)

Found it!! Seems to be working but I can't tell because the jack-in plug/port can't be connected on my CPU.

Do you know if there exists any adaptor for older wheels?
