@chevyboi618 your definition is incorrect statute of limitations...a "statute" is setting a time limit on legal action in certain cases. ie there's no statute on murder you can commit a murder now and still get charged for that murder 15yrs from now, as opposed to rape, rape generally has a 5year window to file a case then its closed. you get the same prison sentence for 10 body's that you get for 1..so 500 years is just a judge slapping you in the face saying your never going home again..

@chevyboi618 well if you want to be exact there's multiple factors into how much time you get ie.how old you were when you committed it, the state ,the legal system your in, and what you used to kill them [1st,2nd,3rd degree murder] idk what state your in but in mines[NY] and others [MD,CA,etc] attempted murder is just as committing the actual crime which is 25 to life no parole, now you can get parole but you only get it if the board thinks youve changed in the prison system..
