  • You can delete this messages afterwards lol i type a lot but, you've bought and seen the material of Brett Manning; do you think I'll be able to raise my vocal range and quality to what i said in my previous messages? Do you think it's worth it? - I bought Pers Bristow's Singing Success and Ian Aussie Castle's Vocal Coach program. Pers Bristow's really opened up my voice but was useless. It didn't teach me about vibrato or anything; just how to start out my singing lmao.

  • @Arturostunes and it was 110 dollars >.>

  • @Arturostunes Did you watch the other updates (this was only at two months)? With Singing Success I got minimal range increase, but more control and better tone. For the first six months, I worked 30 minutes to an hour 3-5 days per week. For the next 4-5 months, did practical applications (analyzing and singing songs) and their warm-ups. Lately I've been working though their Top 7 series to get higher mix, less tension, and more style freedom. New band name is Jericho March!

  • To be honest, if I can hit an A, sustain it and end it with vibrato I'd be really happy and satisfied lol. I've also mastered vocal riffs. - If you don't know what riffs are, check out sam tsui. You can mostly see the riffs in his cover of lil wayn's "How to love". He mixes it up a bit and has some fun with vocal riffs; going up and down notes in between your words, and really having fun with vibrato, are riffs. :P.

  • My max note is a G; my vocal range has not changed since I started...But the quality of my voice definitely has. I have vibrato and I've learned how to use falsetto correctly; I've also mastered mixed voice. I can't get head voice down nor can I change that limit of range that I've got. So i'm hoping , if i buy brett manning's singing success, do you think I'll raise up to perhaps a B?

  • You should really change the name of your band lmao. Sorry had to say that. But your voice is improving; I haven't seen the 'before' but i can hear your vibrato kicking in and wow...You can hit an A. I can sing, and i've been singing for a while now...And that was only in 2 months? how many hours in agiven week do you say you put into that program?

That was an awesome song. You would sound a lot better if you learned about vocal riffs; perhaps that program hasn't taught you about it yet.

  • Awesome!! I'm doing the course, I'm on the second lesson and I don't feel any change :(

wht?? :'( could you help me or give me and advice?

  • @exesfr It takes time and persistence. Be sure to have the first lesson pretty well down before moving to the next. Sometimes it helps to start over again to catch stuff you may have missed. Check out their tips on YouTube. Make sure you have consistent air flow and the least amount of strain. Try adding an "NG" sound to your humming. Try to keep your larynx stable and your neck relaxed while doing the exercises.

  • @noisykungfu Oh thanks a lot for answer :) I'll try it

  • ok im kinda slow and idk if im right.. but is the singing success program put in DVD's or CD's ??

  • @rockmaster987 It's several CDs and one DVD. The DVD is kind of an infomercial for the product and the CDs are the lessons.

  • this program has really helped me to my voice really improved eventhough I could already sing well but I sound like an expert now I sing mezzo Saprano and I was in Chorus in high school also did some piano classes i should really improve my piano skills lol but anyway you are improving well ignore the haters.

  • @afropagangirl11223 Haters gonna hate, but this singer's gonna sing! ;o)

  • How long did it take you, before you started seeing results?

  • @MrMusicCreation Probably around the two month point. I didn't notice it a whole lot until I made this video. It REALLY helps to record yourself periodically so you can track your progress.

  • Ok but the part from 9:46 to the end. Is that mixed voice? And did you just learn how to do that and have no strain from those two months of singing success? I've been working with singing success for about 3 weeks and I still am very strained when I go close to that range. Any exercises or tips to help remove strain and get into mix?

  • @CarTalkWithHNielsen It's mix with a tinge of yelling, lol. I've since gotten it to be just mix. Singing Success will help you get into your mix somewhat will help you reduce some of the strain, and might help you increase your range a bit. Your biggest improvements will be that you'll have more control, thus having more usable range and reduce/eliminate damage to your vocals. Just work hard at it and check out their free tips! Thanks for watching!

  • Question. How has singing success helped your range? The high part at the end, have you always been able to go that high or have you just recently obtained that range through singing success?

  • @CarTalkWithHNielsen I may have gained a note or two in the low and high end, but it made the notes I had more consistent and usable.

  • wow your good even at 2 months! =D I wasnt sure about this product but now i am

  • @NinjaFox8000 Sweet! Hope it works as well for you too! Just stick with it and be patient.

  • LOVE THIS VID!!!!!!

  • @persey004 Thanks! I hope your training goes well today and on!

I'm planning on doing a new video for this each month to track progress and let people know what I'm up to with SS.

Since making this video, I've made acoustic tracks to sing along to in my car, made tracks for all the scales/arpeggios used in the SS CDs and the blagmusic YouTube channel to work on whatever exercises with any of the scales. I've also been trying to learn the keyboard so I can do the scales at my own pace.

  • @jys365 Thanks! I need to practice more with my acoustic (usually practice with a full band) and stop thinking too much when doing the music for these videos. Also thinking about adding a counter for when I say "anyways" or "Singing Success" LOL!

  • @noisykungfu Awesome to hear what you are up to. You have been such an awesome inspiration to me honestly. It really insured myself that if you can improve so much in such a short time, I can too.

I also enjoyed the song you sang in this video too, I was hoping if you could release a new version with higher recording quality. It would be a good showcase!

  • @jys365 Thanks! I've been sticking with it, but just haven't had time to make a new video.

We're actually going to the recording studio next Saturday, but we're not redoing this one. We're gonna lay down four new tracks. After that, we'll probably drop four more and then come back and redo the first four (which includes this one).

  • @jys365 We actually had a chance to update this song in the recording studio, plus updated three others, and recorded four new ones. You can stream or download them for free from our website.

  • @noisykungfu Awesome stuff man. I love the updated version of this song and others!!

  • @jys365 Thanks!
