  • His telling of the quick costume/character change reminded me of doing a dual role in a production of Fiddler On The Roof where I was the Rabbi AND the Russian soloist in the bar scene. I never changed my pants just the top. oh yeah and hats. The director said that proved I had the talent to do Broadway tours. How I wish I would have listened to him.

  • i wish the V&A had a book of all the costumes, that would have been so good especially seeing all the details of each piece.

  • i met him :D

  • Does anyone have a video of the full tour

  • We hope to put the full tour on the V&A website in the near future. It is based on pretty complicated programming so it isn't as easy as it sounds. You can though see it if you are in London and go to the V&A.

  • Cool! I didnt get to see it when i was in london

  • "I play Boq" oooomg! He rules

Olly.T has some competition ! loool

  • for some reason he reminds me of Martin Short

  • jeremy and george both rule jeremy is sweeter tho x

  • ive met jeremy, i think he was a bit freakout out , i was very excited

  • Jeremy is the best :) ohyes.

  • I think he should've spoken about his WWOTE change into the tin suit, which must be the most challenging, especially since its onstage.

  • actually, there is no costume change there. there's an actor hidden behind the wardrobe in the tin costume. when elphaba pushes him back behind, the actor simply sits in the wheelchair, and boq stays hidden. the man is wheled out by elphaba. when he gets up and talks, he's really mouthing the words while boq is saying them over his mic. but there is no actual costume change there...

  • IHopeYouAreHappy11 - Is it the same person who is in the Tin Man costume for "March Of The Witch Hunters" and he just mouths it again?

  • No, that really is the actor who plays Boq. It's just that there's no time in WWOTE for a change, but since there's a lot of time in between that scene and the March of the Witch Hunters scene, he has plenty of time to get into the makeup and costume. then he changes back to his WWOTE costume for curtain call.

  • That's what I though. Thanks!

  • it's not him, it's not boq that comes out, when he's wheeled around the back of the wardrobe he gets in the wardrobe and someone already in a tin suit gets out

  • @PARAWHORExHERE He has plenty of time for that change. He has all of as long as you're mine, the catfight, no good deed, and half of march of the witch hunters to get into the tin suit/makeup. If you mean when Boq first realizes he's been turned to tin and runs from nessa, thats not the actor that plays boq, its someone who steps in for those like 20 seconds of the show for him :P

  • @PARAWHORExHERE he doesnt do that change he has a double already in coustume and make up waiting in the wardrobe that elphaba starts in the scene and when she takes the wheelchair round with boq him and a different person swap and the person in costume mymes (if thats how you spell it) what the real boq is saying and he hides in the wardrobe and gets changed into the tin man costume after the scene :)

  • @spazycatfish Thank you! I thought that I would NEVER figure out how they did it!

  • He seems really nice! I liked him as Boq as well, even though I think I prefer James Gillan more :) Thanks for posting!

  • He wasnt there when i went to see it. It was George Ure

  • George is so amazing!

I prefer him tbh, lol :)

  • LOVE JEREMY!!!
