The middleweight division was pretty weak up till Anderson showed up, he will make it better though because he offers a chellenge to the new comers. I think Silvas good but I think people make him more of a myth then a fighter. He has been beat and stands a chance to be beat again, and IF or when that happens people who thought he was unstoppable will turn and say he wasn't that good, and thats not fair to to any fighter.
Actually, Silva's appearance in the UFC's middleweight division has almost made that weight class boring. Every few events, we get to see Silva annilhilate someone, but there hasn't been much of a draw to that weight class aside from that. Even the heavyweight division has become more exciting than the middleweights.
I really wouldn't call anyone who has fought Silva a "tomato can." Those guys would be tearing that division up if it weren't for Silva. If you're going to say they're "tomato cans," GSP makes 170 a "tomato can" division, BJ Penn makes 155 a "tomato can" division, and Fedor makes all heavyweights pointless. Yes but in the game of MMA my friend commiting too much to a high kick, leaves you open. So you don't want to use full movement ALL the time. He's practicing for what he'll use in the ring. Plus if you are as experienced as you say you are, you know that over-commiting is always the first mistake to getting countered.

The middleweight division was pretty weak up till Anderson showed up, he will make it better though because he offers a chellenge to the new comers. I think Silvas good but I think people make him more of a myth then a fighter. He has been beat and stands a chance to be beat again, and IF or when that happens people who thought he was unstoppable will turn and say he wasn't that good, and thats not fair to to any fighter.

Actually, Silva's appearance in the UFC's middleweight division has almost made that weight class boring. Every few events, we get to see Silva annilhilate someone, but there hasn't been much of a draw to that weight class aside from that. Even the heavyweight division has become more exciting than the middleweights.

If you're going to say they're "tomato cans," GSP makes 170 a "tomato can" division, BJ Penn makes 155 a "tomato can" division, and Fedor makes all heavyweights pointless. i do overall agree with fedor being a better fighter, but anderson is 2 weight classes away. anderson is fast, accurate and has awesome timing but fedor is stronger, and has better hands than him but i think anderson has better bjj and kicks.
they have completely different styles also.
